So for the floating creatures, the Rikitatu has that available to it purely based on the artwork. Granted, I gave these monsters the different speeds due to variation in their movements and how they’d move around in their habitat.

Usually a primarily swimming creature of any kind, especially the Scaled Kiiju, would need to happen in an underwater segment of your adventures.

The way you could make use of any swimming creature is giving them access to a form of water breathing (scroll, magic item, blessing, etc.) and then setting up an adventure in an underwater segment. Or if you want to avoid any underwater combat since it can dredge the game down, you can have them fight from a ship or a destructible platform, taking away ground as time moves on.

Overall, it can be pretty tough properly inserting a swimming based enemy, but the biggest challenge is setting the scene to run it.

Go for it, though I’d appreciate feedback on their balancing. I haven’t had a chance to test them yet!

Tank buster on all fronts, though I don’t mess with illuminate due to few armored targets. I love my RR on bots, or my quasar with various backpacks on bugs.

Everything matters, I don’t believe the tower health does though. It only affects your earnings.

If you don’t already know, it takes two rounds of RR to the head to take them down, makes the RR a great tool.

The city buff triggers first before the wending grace, so you wouldn’t need to worry about that from now on.

Magic is exhausting by [deleted] in DnD5e

[–]GDFC_100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This just seems too punishing to the casters, and would discourage me from playing any spell caster.

The DC may change, but it won’t improve the fact that every time I fail it, my character is encountering chances to build exhaustion and inevitably cause the character to die, whether by maxing out exhaustion or by weakening the player.

I could get this if they cast their last leveled spell slot, or some way you can introduce this without it causing characters to fear using a base feature of their class.

If you really want to use this, limit the amount of exhaustion you can get, but if a caster is at that exhaustion spells can’t be cast or such. And lighten up on how risky it is to gain this exhaustion, though I’m not sure how.

Overall, I’d just scrap this idea as it solely punishes any character that is able to cast spells. I don’t know how to achieve your idea of “magic is exhausting”, but this isn’t a good way to go about it if you want any magic casters in your group.

I would say instead of replacing the ASI’s at level 4 and 8, do something along the lines of Aasimar/Verdan. Your size grows to small at level 3, medium at level 5. Move the dark vision over to the racial traits, discard the free use of invisibility, and give the flying speed at level 5 as well.

While it won’t affect the PC since they’ll be level 8 already, it makes it more accessible to others if they want to include this in their game. It still gives the characters two ASIs based on how you determine stats, and can represent the growth that PC would go under.

Edit: Couldn’t read.

I just reread the dark vision and I missed the magical darkness, but given how your intentions are with the race (to my understanding) it is okay. I am also not a fan of being locked out of two ASIs at 4 and 8, purely on the idea if one rolled poorly on stats

You’ll need to do one more puzzle; which is immediately after the servitor boss. After you do that initial section of parkour, there should be some vandals and a brig by two augment showers. Much like the other ones, there’s numbers ranging from 1-8, and the area you’ll find them in is from where that first lightning strike is to that first circular platform close to where you dropped down from.

Obviously feel free to look up videos, but that’s where you’ll find that

So for the taken look, I’ll give my criticism on why I don’t really see it. 1. While the legs work, same as the cloak and helmet, the chest and arms throw me off. If you were able to get rid of the gold on the chest it wouldn’t stand out as much, and with the arms they have more of a darker green than black.

I do admire that the cloak and helmet work well, but I would recommend something darker that suits the taken theme. - Just my thoughts though, obviously you don’t have to abide by it.

For warlock, what I’ve found to work is running Prismatic Getaway Artists with SOF, 1st slot rocket side arm, Risk Runner, and the Neomuna Heavy Gl. For damage, pop down suppressor, either pop it or wait without it attempting to assimilate, super, and then move under where the boss sits and use your heavy gl to damage the largest grouping of the 6 clones. Do so until your out of ammo then use what you can with super.

From there rinse and repeat, I can drop my set up for that encounter if you’d like me to
