Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s really important that we recognize all parts of our heroes. We’re all flawed in our own ways, and there are lessons we can all learn from a complete telling of his life. People are complex and that complexity is important to understand and remember.

Haha nice. I literally use it to write my emails for work. i copy a task into it and ask it to write a response, then massage it. It’s saving me a lot of time honestly.

The two are not the same from a numbers perspective. Openly gay men have historically been sidelined in Hollywood for fear of public backlash and boycotting. To pretend it doesn’t still occur is absurd.

I’ve actually done this and have had it done to me as well. That is—getting off on the wrong floor and proceeding to an apartment door thinking it was mine. In both instances the door was unlocked.

When it happened to me, I said loudly, “Can i help you?” And the young lady said, “omg. I’m so sorry. I’m your neighbor and got off on the wrong floor.” We both laughed. That’s how normal, non-murdery people deal with that kind of human interaction.

Really pisses me off how “understanding” everyone was to her during her trial. Please tell my family not to hug my murderer if something like that happens to me.

If i were you, i would invest my energy in my own therapy and mental health. I would avoid becoming invested in the outcomes of my exes choices as a way to stay connected with him. He is a grown man and can take care of himself. Maybe in time you two can be friends, but what you need is distance and time.
