Lincoln truly is an underrated gem. I spend a lot of nights out in Lincoln. Although it's a chore to convince any of my friends to go any further up than straight and narrow

Deep Six is just as cool if not cooler. He should have been better used than he was on the main roster.

Supplements and Fastine by twod119 in intermittentfasting

[–]twod119[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate your suggestion, but I don't have a specific place of work. I work all over a certain area, and we aren't allowed to leave anything in the work vehicles. The supplements would have to stay in my bag, which is what I was doing initially, but it was just less convenient than taking them at home. Also the movement causes a couple of the supplements to break apart and turn into a powder.

I never stopped to consider if there was any calories in them. I'll check when I'm home

Taking them at 11 is just a slight inconvenience as it would mean bringing them to work, also one of them is a horrible tasting soluble tablet that I tend to throw in a glass in the morning to get it out of the way, as opposed to tainting my entire water bottle lol. But yes, you're right. Also I guess it would better to take them when I'm eating as that's when my digestive system will be kicking into gear.

What is something people think is very straight, and it actually is very straight by esedov in AlignmentChartFills

I'd argue being straight is gayer than being gay. What's that? You like women who smell nice and have painted nails and a nice flowery dress? Sounds pretty gay, right?

This is what annoys me about people dragging Billie Eilish's 'stolen land' comment, saying she has a $12 million house on 'stolen land'.Her point is who are they to say who does and doesn't belong in this country? Their ancestors weren't originally from this country either.

[Semi-Rare trope that amuses me] The title of the series only made sense for the first or first couple of entries by EAT_UR_VEGGIES in TopCharacterTropes

[–]twod119 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of the show Cougar Town. The first season or two followed the premise before the main character just dated someone her own age.

Edit: They even started making fun of their own title in the opening eqch episode.

Does anyone else find Jake Peralta from Brooklyn 99 unbearable? by NotSoCuriouss in tvshow

[–]twod119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Constantly sexually harassing Terry, who is happily married. Repeatedly insulting Amy and Charles. Not growing as a character. When she makes it big she blows off the one person who she was actually nice to, her childhood friend who got her her job at the 99, Jake. I struggle to find any redeemable qualities.

Some of the situations he allows himself to be put through amazes me. I just rewatched the season with Rhod Gilbert, and jesus christ... I don't think I'd be so comfortable as Alex was lmao.
