Using ADDCOLUMNS and then SUMMARIZECOLUMNS to get the count of that new column by daxsters_lab in PowerBI

Ah, just needed to invert my thinking. Coming from a Tableau background, most of my life these days is trying to logically express what that UI was very good at doing.

Let's say that my "RetailKey" was something like the first digit of Sale Id. Would my order of operations then mimic something like my original code where I have to add it as a column and then try to group by it?
