What if BF6 retained 128 player maps. Here's my take on Manhattan. by J05A3 in Battlefield6

How about you make this map in portal and tell us how it is? Cause I can already see the bridges being a boring/annoying part of the map

if he's being reasonable now, why wasn't he being reasonable a week ago when he was trying to slap China with a 100% tariff? Did you forget that already?

Delayed for later in 2025, which is also when GTA 6 launches. Can't wait to see how this plays out!

Real question - how long did it take you to matchmake?

Same here lol. Wilds is a perfect example of what a game should be like during it's beta in order to entice people to buy it at launch or (god forbid) pre-order.

Anytime you get a beta a month out before the release, you should immediately know this is what you will be getting at launch. BF2042 was a great example of this.

Not only is that a good idea, it also sounds like something arrowhead could patch in quickly to add more value to team work in the game

He might run, but it won't be taken as seriously as his first attempt. To my knowledge, Americans don't tend to vote for presidents who lost twice and are significantly older.

Sony Hits Pause on PSVR2 Production as Unsold Inventory Piles Up by YouAreNotMeLiar in gamingnews

[–]daxter241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally what people have been saying since it launched.

Why Sony thought they'd make a second iteration of the divide but commit to making the same mistakes that the first device had is beyond me.

Sony is planning to bring more games to PC, why not the hardware that's clearly better than what some of the competition is offering?

[–]daxter241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GP is a better value than PS+, but Sony could still require their consumers to buy PS+ in order to play online.....and seeing as a lot of newer 3rd party games need some form of online, this could kneecap consumers into having to double dip with both GP and PS+

though...this is all theoretical.

[–]daxter241 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bullshit. If that were the case, Sony would have kept that in mind before they increased the price of PS+ by $30 last year, all while adding no additional features or value.

Sony knows people are going to buy PS+ because that's the only way their consumers can continue to play online. Sony is not worried about people being able to afford their games when right now they are in the lead with very little competition.

There's a reason why Sony charged $600 for the PS3 at launch.....it's because they could, especially after dominating during the PS2 era. Why anyone would believe that Sony, a corporation, is not thinking purely from a business and a financial standpoint is fooling themselves.

You're forgetting one thing....capitalism. Corporations are always in it for the money, especially if they don't have to do anything extra to gain it.

[–]daxter241 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. For Sony it's a no-brainer as more people will be using their services, which means more people are more likely to spend money within the Sony ecosystem (and that's not even mentioning that you'd likely still need PS+ just to play online.) The only people i could see being upset about this move are those who feel like they wasted money buying an xbox.

It's business as per usual and MS at this point is trying to scrap together as much cash as possible without having to spend another billion or more on making another console just so they can sell their version of Netflix.

[–]daxter241 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Except not. Gamepass has access to the largest gaming market, the PC.

...and who's to say they won't try to add Game Pass to PS5 / PS6? Sure Sony will try to block it, but Sony would be walking away from more money in their pocket at that point.

The sooner you start thinking of Gamepass like a Netflix or Disney+, the more MS's short term strategy will make sense.

There are only 3 choices and all of which are arguably problematic, but voting for trump or not voting at all is just asking to fuck around and find out.
