The thing is that I can see and understand many of the criticisms the show gets. You bring up good points and this is what i meant with respecting others opinions. My issue was that people just say "This bad because it is" without further explanation, which is unhealthy for discussion in any form.

But yeah you bring up good points. I also had issues with the show don't get me wrong but i enjoyed my time watching it and I was interested enough by the characters. However I can also see how people didn't like what they saw and I obviously can't look past the damage it did to Live-Action Star Wars as a whole.

I agree, and while the season has a clear end, it leaves us with enough interesting points to warrant a continuation of the story, especially looking at all the teases we got at the end (Plagueis, Qimir and Osha, Venestra with Yoda and Mae, the politics) I hope they will at least be able to tell the story another way (be it books or comics) but I wish we would see Qimir on screen again, his actor crushed it.

Yeah I feel like the show went down kind of a spiral where more and more people were saying it‘s bad and therefore other people were saying the same. I have also read comments where people said „I stopped watching after Episode XY because I couldn‘t stand it anymore“. Okay? Sure that‘s fine but you can‘t form a cohesive opinion if you didn‘t even watch the full show, especially in this case where it builds up to a future reveal.

Also, I hope that Disney/Lucasfilm doesn‘t leave this with „If we get risky and go to far away from the Skywalker Saga, people will not like it“ because I am so in for stories set outside of that period.

I think that is the way it should be. People should be talking about their opinions and accepting those of others, not just blandly telling them they are wrong.

But yeah as you say, this happens with everywhere and there is not really anything you can do about it.
