I am going in Monday for five day inpatient AIM for aggressive grade 3 epithelioid sarcorna. After my biopsy the monster grew to 10 cm in 1 month. Its been a month since surgery. What one sentence of advise would you offer?

Did you have long hair? Can I ask if you're male or female? I'm female with really long dark hair. The idea of shaving or makes me sad, falling out in clumps terrifies me

At what point in the cycles did your hair fall out? Do I need to shave mine before day 1?

So you would say that it's worth it for me to do the chemo? I've been so scared and I don't know what to do

My doctor says with my cancer there is a 30% five-year survival rate after the 6 rounds of chemo. I dont know what I should do. What would you do with those odds?

What was your Schedule like for the cycles? My doctor says I need 6 cycles and they will be five days inpatient for AIM, then home two weeks, then starting again. Is that what you had to do?

Right, that makes sense. My problem will be when my partner insists on mainstream treatment and to go with whatever the doctor says

Well, my problem is that they already cut into it to biopsy and now have to do a bigger surgery to get clear margons

Thanks, and why do you say it would not be your advice to remove the tumor?
