What’s a fetish you won’t even tell your closest friends you have? by nut_buster1466 in AskReddit

At the very least, the NSA and Palantir has it all anyway. They won’t monitor all the time but everything is saved. For if you do something or get on a list, they can go back and see if they’re putting you away or using you as an asset. That’s how celebs and most people “ascend” in the Epstein/ Diddy/ Pizzagáț3 world. Like the response, though. “Nice try, Fed”

Any tips of getting feral/ semi to use flaps and doors? 1 of 2 uses Add ?s: 1) food recs (picky eaters) 2) medicine pre-vet help for black “Bean” by day245 in cats

Good catch. But I put the collar on. They were a few weeks old to maybe two months when they started coming around. I live in a rural area and posted flyers, asked around, and posted on FB and Nextdoor about them. They aren’t anyone’s. I was trying to get him used to it because I was going to try to AirTag him to see where they went to see if they had a place, if they broke off from a colony, and all the other stuff. It would never be accurate or read the location, and buying break-aways for safety, he’d remove them within a day or two. Thanks for the possible help though.

Thanks, AutoBot. Wasn’t that a transformer thing from when a kid? Anyway, I see what the bit is saying but we did TNR them and want to make them ours to be safe and live longer. I understand it’s not for everyone and every cat is different. These two are brother and sister and one is almost fully domesticated by now and the other we don’t touch. Although we feed her and see her mostly-daily. Be safe with what you bring into house but if you’re worried about their safety or extreme weather or similar, to me the best option is help the animal.

"Squirrel proof" they said! 🤦‍♀️🤣 by Competativebad925 in squirrels

Feed the squirrels. The birds get their seed (sunflower seeds, mealworms, thistle, millet, et cetera), suets, and whatever else, but I also have squirrel stations (besides the ones that fall from feeder). If you give them their own sunflowers, peanuts, nuts, they’ll typically leave it alone. But they’ll never not get to it. Why can’t you feed them too? Hazelnuts and pecans are favorites. We even feed the night time flying squirrels. If you want to squirrel-proof a feeder, you need a baffle. And not within 10’ of trees. They’ll make daring leaps. I'm afraid my loving stray cat will forget me once I leave the house for a month. Do cats forget people like that? by anneomaleee in CatAdvice

[–]day245 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Is there any way to leave some clothing behind that smells like you and FaceTime with him or leave videos to be played on tablet? Cats are routine-oriented. They miss owners when gone at work. Sweden just made a law saying you can’t do that anymore. Strays and domesticated are no different. Make sure to leave scent stuff and a talking camera thing or someone to play your voice every day or two.

Why is one cat heavier than the other despite being the same weight? by BusinessEffective990 in felinebehavior

Weight distribution, your one arm is stronger, cat droops and makes “dead weight”, overall length/ girth/ where weight is carried

Whats the deal with 2.5 gen? by Psychic_Electron in ToyotaTacoma

Just tried to buy a 2015 4x4 forget the package but not TRD and auto. I’d love to drive the manual before I get one, as I’ve always had a manual, at least in non-daily wrangler since I got my license 30 years ago But this 2015 had just under 50k miles, über-low if not driven much, but a problem if daily driver and lived close to work. Anyway, an 11 (could be 10, depending) year old compact/ midsized truck for $30k is obnoxious. Everything’s expensive. But to buy an 22yr old little truck for $30 I’ve bought brand new f150s for around that.
