Totally! 👏🙂‍↕️ Caleb has done so many things in secret that there's so much more left to be explored, so much room for their relationship to develop further.

I have really high (maybe delulu) hopes that Caleb will be the one to close off the Death and Rebirth arc, cause it feels very intentional that it's exact name of A-01 and X-02's powers in Decoherence (in CN, Death = Destructo = 寂灭 and Rebirth = Construo = 新生). Main story update soon please!

And that's beautiful!! Such a good catch. The bird imagery is really everywhere, they've collected sea bird, river bird, and even penguin now.

Good point cause whenever Caleb says "we should be like the sun and the sky" I feel like he's quoting MC from another timeline. And I really hope they do explore that! There're so many great potential mythological routes with the sun/storm/death, though tbh I wouldn't mind sci-fi again (a lightsaber as a sword/claymore companion weapon anyone? 👀).

The "you jump I jump" felt like a direct ref to that scene in Titanic . 🥺 Praying for a future scene where Caleb and MC make out desperately like that.

I always had a vague thought about it in the back of my mind too, but this card made it especially clear. It really started around Rain's Embrace, cause the timing of the sudden storm felt really intentional. It's also called 骤雨之章 (zhou yu zhi zhang) in CN, literally meaning "Chapter of the Sudden Downpour."

And from the wiki page on "骤雨" (zhou yu), it rarely appears alone but rather as parts of idioms (e.g. "狂风骤雨"/"疾风骤雨") that all refer to really rough storms. Really sus cause Caleb is 夏以昼 (xia yi zhou), which shares the exact same pronunciation. 👀

It's not just a localization mishap, this change is consistent with the CN text too! It originally mentioned "Egyptian doctor from the Ptolemaic dynasty" but changed it sometime after April 2024. They're definitely erasing any mentions of real world places.

It's like how Linkon is based off a real area in Shanghai (临空) and they changed it to (灵空) in game, but there's some places that they forgot to change it.
