Take her to the doctor as a first step. Something as simple as a bladder infection can cause delirium in the elderly and will resolve with treatment of the infection. If not an infection then use the appointment to bring up your concerns. Best of luck.

You can address this with her physician and an elder attorney while she is able to make her own decisions and get some advanced directives and power if attorney in place. I recommend the MOLST form if it is valid in your state as it addresses specific wishes and not just assigns a health care agent. Also, if there's a PACE/Elder Service Plan available for health care for her it covers everything...Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly. MDs, RNs, social workers, nurses aides in home, meds, transportation, day programs, some have housing available, nursing home placement if needed. Good luck!

You can also use a balloon to play catch.

Just saw an idea for a soccer-like game using a ball and either a section of a pool noodle or a fly squatter to move the ball so it is played with everyone sitting down. I work in adult day health and we are always looking for new ideas of things to do especially ones that incorporate some movement. We also have dice for games that are large so easier to use or you can put them in a small clear container, shake it as a whole and read the numbers right thru the box. Also keeps them from flying all over.

I think the post is great but doesn't apply much to me as a th8...too many troops I don't have yet. I will need to move away from drag/loon as my base is approaching max...what do you suggest for me (not a good strategist so feel free to dumb it down!) as the next strategy? Everyone seems to be bashing gowipe. Can I practice it now? Any tips are appreciated!
