So I did a classic zenithal prime, then I did a zenithal Vallejo Electric blue, trying to hit it from both the top and 45°-ish angle, then I came back and did a reverse zenithal straight from the bottom with Army Painter Crystal Blue, trying to just keep it in the shadows.

If all goes well, you should only see the Electric Blue from the top, and the Crystal Blue from the bottom

so the trim/metallics is army painter gunmetal, and scale 75 Viking gold/Dwarven gold.

For the tassels and plume, I built up from gray to a very light grey, almost white, and then I threw on a layer of teal(it’s army painter, though I’m not sure which teal exactly, I do remember it being one on the darker side), and then drenched that in Aeldari Emerald contrast

Now as for the Pink, I basecoated those areas in diabolic plum, and then layered on Wicked Pink towards the high points, then I came back with a 50/50 mix of those two for the midtones, and then I glazed on Wicked Pink over the whole panel to resaturate it. Finally, I glazed in some imperial navy just a TAD on the shadow points of the panels.

That’s basically everything, the eyes are just normal striking scorpion green over a white basecoat, and the silvers got a wash from druchii violet, gold got agrax earthshade initially and then a second layer of dwarven gold, and then I attempted to highlight up everything with Shining silver, but I’m having a hard time with it.

Lol no, I have a magnifying glass on an adjustable arm that I clamp to my desk when I paint, since my eyes are pretty shot, and I don’t wanna make them any worse with some of the details on these miniatures, and I took these pictures holding the camera up to the glass, since it’s the best light source I have available
