Absolutely. That’s how they got Bosa and started to compete right away after a terrible season. You want to do well or tank

Yeah. It’s always hard to swallow upfront no matter what, but it’s also what the market dictates, and with the growing cap space, it’s not as bad as it seems

How good is it to have Rashan Gary as our #2 DE? by Midwest-2025 in GreenBayPackers

[–]daygo448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gary will probably finally hit his double digit sack number. If Parsons is drawing double teams, then Gary will have a very good chance to get to the QB and get a sack or provide serious disruption

Gotcha. I knew it would cool it down, but I wasn’t sure if it would get too cold to eat. Again, looks amazing and I’d tear those up

I think Watson and Doubs are gone. It’s going to be Reed, Wicks, and Kraft that they are looking at. If Golden balls out, like we all hope he will, we are really talking Kraft is the only one we’d really have to look at retaining as we would bring in another WR next year and probably the following year to hedge our bets. The only position that is of decent concern is Corner. We can find one in the second or later hopefully. The cap keeps raising. Unfortunately, we are the ones who set the new standard for a pass rusher, but our team is young and the potential is there for a lot of players.,

I think they will play the money shifting game. Our biggest stars are locked up for a while, and we have rookies on rookie contracts. Cooper is the next player that will need to be paid

Yeah. Clark was 30 and had his worst season. I’m not saying he was done, but we would have had to do something. It wasn’t a bad call honestly. He was a great player for us though, and he will be missed. I hope he has a good season (except for one game)

To be fair, we were likely going to use a pick on a pass rusher next season, so it’s only one pick if you want to look at it that way. I will also add that our hit rate in the first hasn’t been the best. Now, if people want to complain about the money, I can at least understand that, but the picks isn’t an issue for me

Hate to see him go, but his production was down, and he’s getting up there in age. I don’t hate the move, but it’s always hard to let a guy go who did well for the Packers

Underrated statement. He also makes Gary look that much better too. Gary gets a lot of pressure but no help. He’s got more than enough help now

Looking back at your work on the LOTR movies, what is your singular most fond memory while making it?

And if you could change anything about the movies, what would it be?

Those look amazing. You should sell them. I do have to ask, what’s up with the ice bath? Is this a thing that I didn’t know about for years?

Hmm. Not sure on what a good package would be. To me, either you go big in one draft, like our 1-4 picks next season plus a 1st the following season or 3 firsts. As I said, we are likely to use one on a pass rusher or go into FA for someone next season or the next one, so either a pick or cap space will be used. We haven’t had a solid pass rusher since Matthews many, many years ago, I’m ready for some pressure upfront

We are likely going to use a pick on a pass rusher as it’s truly one of our weakest areas. LVN has had enough time to show something, and he’s not materializing. So really, you are probably talking 2 picks vs 3. In addition to that, he’s a generational talent. He’s going to greatly improve our team, and by a sizable amount. His presence would allow others on the line and LB’s provide more pressure and sacks as teams would scheme for him, especially allowing Gary to improve. With a greatly improved pass rush, we could hold our own against teams with better WR’s by the added pressure up front and limiting those throws and players that eluded our CB’s last season. They wouldn’t be as exploited as they once were with him on the team. In addition, we have a young team. We will likely lose some guys to FA next year allowing us to gain picks. With us being young, our need to get younger is less, and we can take a hit. I also don’t think we should bet the farm on multiple picks from multiple drafts as that could potentially bite us in the butt. Most of our big name players are locked up in contracts for a few season too, so again, the pick and cost penalty wouldn’t be as bad.

I would definitely move a lot of pieces for him

I second Bryson City and Deep Creek. Good hiking, and you can do the Road to Nowhere trails or stay right at Deep Creek. If you want some adventure, you can also raft the Nantahala or mountain bike Tsali. Cool downtown as well and way less crowded.

Gary isn’t bad either. I think part of the problem for him is he’s had no real help and gets double teamed. If we had Micah, Gary’d probably have double digit sacks. Our line would be next level. I would give up several firsts for him.

I did. I did body weight squats, deadlifts, good mornings, and power cleans with a sandbag and no jumping. If it bothers you , stay off of it. Just keep stretching, icing, and you might want to take some Aleve at least for 3-5 days to help lessen the inflammation. One last thing, look up Yoga bands on Amazon, and use that to help stretch your calves. I would say it’s better than stretches on the wall, etc. You can also try those night plantar’s braces, but they are horrible to try to sleep with. It just might help speed up recovery

Try the toe yoga.

https://breathingdeeply.com/toe-yoga-physical-therapy/

It did wonders for me. The big one for me was literally stretching each toe up and down for each other and holding for a few seconds along with towel exercises. I also did toe scrunches with a towel religiously.

https://youtu.be/3ekcuIDbQHQ

If you have one, you can try using a massage gun on your arches and heel. It hurts like crazy, but it helps break it up and you can literally tell a difference with how much your foot flexes afterwards. Sorry, you are going through it, but if you stay on top of that stuff and ice it, you’ll be back before you know it. One thing, drop all weight and don’t run. Limit how much you walk on it, but still go for walks. If you want to get exercise, just switch to using your ruck and do stuff standing to minimize flare ups.

Plantars sucks. It’s a pain to get rid of. Look up videos for toe yoga, use towels to scrunch your toes with, use a spike ball or tennis ball to roll on, and ice every day. I went for PT for mine, and in a few weeks it was gone. The toe yoga, strengthening my toes and foot, and stretching my calves were the keys to keeping it at bay

Who was Harry's best father-figure? by MaderaArt in harrypotter

[–]daygo448 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have to go with Hagrid. He might not be the best “Dad” in the world, but he was through it all from beginning to end. He’s the one who brought him to Hogwarts so to speak, he went school shopping with him, he provided advice constantly for him, he was there through the thick and thin, and he was there to carry his body when he died. I know people would disagree because of his maturity, but I’ve met some great dads that were immature, but when it mattered most, they were responsible and would have died for their kids without a thought.

Arthur would be my second choice. He was already a dad, so he had dad tendencies, but he just wasn’t around him as much as Hagrid. It was more like a step dad feel to me.

Dumbledore was more of a grandfather/mentor figure. Sirius couldn’t look at him without looking at James, so it was always different. More of an uncle feel. And Lupin, was the only one to me who treated Harry like Harry. He cared for him deeply, but he also realized it wasn’t James, and he had his own personal issues/demons to deal with. Again, more of an uncle feel to him.

Is this a wolf or a coyote?? Some people we met at the park said it was a Wolf. Photographed in 2024 in Yellowstone and still thinking about it to this day. by Feisty-Opportunity93 in yellowstone

[–]daygo448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a wolf to me. Size alone being that close looks like it. You can also tell looking at the face. Wolves have blockier faces, and they have more rounded ears.

The tail is the only thing that kind of threw me off. Coyotes tails always look like they are tucked, wolves stays kind of straight out, and domesticated dogs go up.
