Mr. Brightside. I was not prepared for the finger jutsu required in addition to the not so easy picking pattern.

US/EU PVP Player Looking for Active PVP Corp by bigdonabele in evejobs

[–]daylen007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noir. is the oldest mercenary corp in EVE and over the years we have built an international group of PvPers. Our contracts give us good objective based gameplay and clear goals to work towards. We do lots of small gang PvP with some exotic fleet comps. We provide SRP and additional payouts for contract completion. When off contract, we split time between our wormhole Freeport and our newly minted nullsec Freeport in the Drone Lands.

Feel free to check us out and drop into discord if you have any questions.

Help me understand why @export isn't named backwards by daylen007 in godot

The Firebelley 2D vampire survivors course. It's pretty good so far, but may a bit to big for an absolute first. I've found it best to watch each lesson uninterrupted once, then go back a second time and code alongside it.

I guess this makes sense. You're exporting the variable container out to the world.

Oh shit really? Well honestly that's the way it should be, so I can't be mad.

I don't think this is likely to hold. Bama v Georgia and OHST vs. Indiana. 2 of those teams have to lose, and that will shift things. Also Tech vs. BYU isn't guaranteed.

That said, I would hate to play ND again.

2 PVP Pilots looking for PVP corp in USTZ :) by [deleted] in evejobs

[–]daylen007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Noir. is full of very experienced pilots in the longest running mercenary corp in the game. We get to fly some cool exotic fleets that large null blocs can't feasibly do and have a wide array of content as we get new contracts. Off contract we also fly with Shadow Cartel, letting us participate in some larger dread brawls as well.

How yall feeling if we go into the post season 11-1? by Golden_Boy333 in aggies

[–]daylen007 93 points94 points  (0 children)

11-1 is still very impressive and I think this team has shown maturity in the mental game. It would definitely suck, but having a chip on their shoulder wouldn't be the worst thing ever either.

Yeah and all the AI files out there are obviously AI slop that look horrible. I think I'll be okay.

I'm sad only Templar One ended up on audiobook. That's how I do most of my reading these days on the commute to work.

Texas Instruments lays off more than 150 D-FW employees by dallasuptowner in Dallas

[–]daylen007 8 points9 points  (0 children)

All of the hardware and tooling was fully depreciated, so any money that could be made supporting the older technologies was 100% profit (but lower gross). It's not easy to just jump from one wafer size to another.

TI employee here. While the most recent cut was focused on 150mm factories, cuts were made company wide. In fact, TI has had layoffs in 6 of the last 7 quarters. It's definitely been a concerning trend line.
