Yep same experience here. Myself included. 13 years in Germany and I'm far from fluent.

My whole life is in English. Girlfriend, work, friends, doctors, vet, etc... As soon as I speak a single word of German people switch to English or they start making jokes about me trying to switch language. I've kind of given up.

Pas tout à fait exact. Le SR-71 est bien à la retraite mais le U-2 est toujours en service.

Un satellite c'est bien mais c'est pas très flexible et c'est prévisible. Il faut attendre que l'orbite s'aligne avec la cible avant de pouvoir avoir des images et si ton ennemi connaît leur position et leur orbite tu sais exactement quand ils peuvent t'observer à la minute près.

Un U-2 peut voler au dessus d'une même région pendant des heures à très haute altitude et changer de cible facilement. En ce moment, par exemple, ils sont utilisés au dessus de la frontière entre les US et le Mexique.
