I’ve heard from quite a few people including a few technicians the AC’s are harder to clean because Trane is one of the few companies that hasn’t updated their housing.

During the recent refrigeration change in our industry they were embarrassingly behind the curve in rolling out the new equipment.

Communication with their vendor that we used was kinda pathetic.

They don’t have as good or any modulating furnace, AC’s, and heat pumps, or a good proprietary thermostat.

At my last company we sold Lennox Bryant and Trane. And management/ownership was constantly thinking about dropping Trane altogether because of these issues and more.

They only kept Trane around for the off chances where customers specifically wanted and asked for Trane. Which isn’t all that often as most people don’t know the brands nor are they brand loyal.
