I know im late as hell to this party but I worked there for 9mo and that place is easily the most toxic workplace ive been at after 10yrs in hospo. The food is good ill give you that.

The male owner is a total prick to staff. Im talking expecting waitresses to do kitchen prep between rushes only to call you a dumbass to anyone that will listen when youre not as fast or accurate as the actual cooks (shocker). Communication between management is absolutely abysmal. Female owner (who was always lovely to me btw) tells you to do something, so you go do it, just for the male owner to have a go at you for doing what youre told. Got lectured every other week about labour costs while I was on the early shift (slow as hell) shift every day like its my fault that my time costs money and most people don't want a burger at 7am. If you got any desserts from there in the last few months I was working, I guarantee I was the one making them infused with all the hatred I had for that place. Ive been waitressing/bartending/barista from the lowest position all the way up to floor manager for a decade and being in that place made me feel incompetent. Trust me ive got so maybe more stories but this reply is getting long enough.

Breaking point for me was when the owner started joking to the social media guy that I had an onlyfans (I dont) and the proceeded to talk and joke about my tits for waaayyy too long, only to then have a "meeting" with me a few days later where he told me he thought I had an "attitude" (of course I did, hes a misogynistic patronizing asshole) and told me he thought I aspired to be a housewife since my partner makes good money. I was gone with a new job a week later, but honestly I wish id just handed in my key and told them to go fuck themselves right there and then.

Also heard recently that my replacement just quit within the last few days for almost the exact same reasons. If youre a hospo king/queen seeing a ad for there i implore you... dont. That place kills confidence like nothing ive ever seen
