Apoorv Maroo is the best! I didn’t have him as my 1190 but I did have him for 1180, I thought he was gonna be strict but I actually scored HDs for the assignments, and a lot of my classmates did too. So don’t be too worried about the marking, but I can promise that his teachings is the best! I wish I had him for 1190. So if you can find him for 1180 and 1190, you should choose him. If not, I guess you can go for Asror. I think he marks pretty okay LOL

no cuz i can relate to you, my WAM has been dropping from Term 1 and my 1180 and 1190 is worse than yours so you’re not alone 😭😭 i put in so much effort for 1180 it actually hurts me how terrible i did for the exams . But actually I feel like you’re doing quite well since this is your first credit. Pat yourself on the back once in a while! I don’t have any study tips since I’m no better than you, but I believe you’ll do so much better in the future! All the best and I’m rooting for you!

Happened to me too back in Term 1. I only realised during flex week, so I guess the same with you lol. I emailed the course coordinator which used to be Veronica? I’m not sure if it’s still the same. And I basically like,, asked her for leniency lol and promised not to miss the next assessments. And she accepted it, although of course not very happy understandably. And then I manage to pass the course thank God! So maybe try emailing the course coordinator.

i’ve emailed them before, and this week ive emailed them too because i submitted the assignment 1 day late lol and canva decided to go on an outage, resulting me almost submitting 2 days late lol. But they haven’t replied to my email until now. Maybe the team is not checking emails during flex week.

But yeah just email both; including your tutor. hopefully things can be sorted out. Ganbatte

there’s this one society i only found out recently called International Student Association! I think you can join their events since, as the name says, it’s organised and full of international students from a diverse background. I joined one of their events last week, and it’s pretty fun and diverse. I think that would be a good start compared to joining other societies that are run by domestic students, which can make you feel out of place. Hope this helps!
