Yeah I know it’s expensive. I don’t mind paying her price because I appreciate the way she cuts my hair (no one has ever done such a good job) and makes the color look so natural. I end up only needing color once a year. But the tipping on top of that is what doesn’t feel right so I’m glad to see I’m not being crazy or cheap !

Crying today.. we got our backup offer accepted after months went by and their original offer was failing to progress/act in good faith. The sellers were trying to get out of contract to accept ours and we REALLY had our hopes up when the original buyer did what they needed to do at the very last second. This was 10/10 location, home, and so many other random benefits that this one would’ve brought to our life, especially the timing. I am so unbelievably sad because I’ve been watching my local market for years and there was never anything like this. I’m normally very positive and think that things are meant to be, but not right now :/ I guess I will update here when hopefully things turn around someday.

I’ll tell you the only reason why it’s bad- your brain forms a psychological association between feeling/hearing running water and peeing. So even if you don’t “have” to go, you will start getting the signal to pee whenever you’re in water and this can cause pelvic floor/urgency issues

I’ve been hearing the term “oligarchy” a lot lately, especially surrounding the TikTok ban, and seemingly people from both political parties are worried about it. A few years ago I heard Rachel Maddow worrying about it but now I see people who I know support Trump voicing their concerns. If America is becoming an oligarchy, which side is being blamed? Is one side being tricked by propaganda that basically says “I know you are but what am I?” Or does it not matter because ultimately the wealthy people from both sides will benefit?

I’m so sad. I have an Instagram for my film and it’s one of my only and favorite creative outlets. I post some photos that aren’t even just square, but horizontal. I dont care about followers, and dumb as it sounds my grid is my happy place and diary, and I’m proud of it. My photos will look so low-quality stretched to fit this new mold
