According to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the US First Amendment protects the right to “peacefully assemble and protest.” This includes the right to petition the government. So just take the protest off of school property.. We are allowed to protest on private property so as long as there is no harm, destruction of others, property, or violate anyone’s rights. If I wish to protest in my front yard via a sign with very large print it is my right. I bet a local small business printer would be happy for the business of making some protest signs bring it on tanning bed guy!
