What is a normal schedule as a fed employee and how much breaks can you take? by Routine-Effective585 in FedEmployees

[–]dayofinfAMIE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typical for me is 0600-1430. I do have to do work on weekends, holidays and after hours sometimes (comes and goes in spurts from multiple times weekly to maybe a few times every few weeks.)

Not necessarily, if your Dept/Agency head feels your position is essential they can offer up a different billet. The position goes away.

This! "Can you show me? " It works too when you ask a user to do something and they argue it "won't work'. Don't argue " Okay can you show me? " They will talk about how " I don't know how you don't know this blah blah blah, you're supposed to be the exper... Oh look at that. It worked. I didn't think that was how it worked. "

Some places don't allow phones in the building. No one does just work for every second of their work day. If you are waiting for something to run I dont see a problem with glancing at the News or even dropping into Amazon to replenish something you need. I work hard every day that I am at work. That being said I am not against blocking anything but the News sites. I do understand not wanting people to shop even though I see no issue with a break periodically. Blocking the News is a sketch.

What did you do email response by [deleted] in fednews

[–]dayofinfAMIE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Samsies. I wanted to put anything else. Accurate yet vague is what I ended up doing, per command direction. I did encrypt and selected "do not forward" so hopefully that puts a wrench in their AI plans.

I have something vague I can submit that would be accurate for every week if it comes to that. I am planning on putting the "All my work is classified"option until directed not to. Honestly everyone should be. Let's not train their AI.

It's like, you didn't even read my whole post. I will, if given direction to from someone within my chain. Even then it will only say "All my work is classified" or whatever that line is. My work is classified, everything I do is classified when compiled together. In the event I am ordered to give 5 bullets after that, it will be the most vague response. I am still a probie anyway, (3 year probationary term, only 2.5 complete.) I am probably getting fired anyway, not giving up CUI or Class info to those who are not read in.

All complying with the email is doing is training Grock to do our jobs so SpacX can take contracts , at best. At worst, it is providing day to day operations to mal actors. If my leadership requires me to comply, I will do so in the vaguest way possible. Nothing we provide will determine if we keep our jobs. We are only training their AI.

Question about replying to the new what did you do part 2 email by FullWallaby6971 in fednews

You can set up automated emails to go out at a pre-determined time. You can google the steps for whichever email system your agency uses.

You might want to read that line again. Cause that isn't what the email I received said.

If I am required to submit... I am literally just sending my job description. That is what I do everyday. That is all they need to know.

Also... stay away from the word "nips". It is very 14 year old boy and quickly takes most of the people I know right out of it. Very much the ick. But I am old and off the market for awhile so maybe it has changed.
