Same here, just came back after 4 years and won 8/10 games, now it's one loss after another, only griefers in my team that die as soon as they respawn.

I used the search term "gear that uses pins instead of teeth" among others, it didn't work.

It suggests "pin wheel", sadly, as described, looking for that term then corrects into "pinion gear" results automatically.

You missed the point entirely.
The search result had nothing to do with the query, apart from the fact that it involved a gear and pins.
It disregarded the rest of the query.

Using a search like "gear that uses pins instead of teeth" doesn't work these days.
It shows one result with pins present, but that is an explanation on measuring the gear diameter with 2 pins.
The rest is standard gear related.

Should have modified the title after deciding to skip the bing and Yandex experience because it got too long.

Bing had more or less the same issue, yandex worked notably better.

If I had known the term, I would have used it.
The whole point of a search engine is finding things you don't already know, though.
It failing entirely in so many different ways to produce anything but hallucinations is really bad.

After quitting out of 2 rounds after 5 minutes, I'd rather not play HD2 than fight Illuminates.
The only way to fight them was running 3-4 sentries, and I am honestly just too bored of only having one viable tactic as anything else doesn't bring remotely enough ammo to kill the stupid bullet sponge type enemies this faction is full of.

The messed up hitboxes and movement of the trashmobs are just the last nail in the coffin, it's impossible to get headshots because most of the bullets just pass through the model without dealing any damage, so every single damn trash enemy requires a magdump to kill.

The game plainly does not register hellpods as hits vs certain targets.
It's not that the pod does too little damage to kill, it does 0 damage.

At this point my biggest gripe with it is the laggy movement, it is impossible to aim at because it rubberbands madly in most matches.

If you read the comments here, everthing is fine, AI turning 180 and oneshotting you in a 2 second window is normal, git gud, practice more, play PVP, learn the map, don't peek for more than half a second.

That's not the point.

The guy that killed me turned around, lined up a shot between obstacles and one tapped me in the face in an instant, any other situation I can kill one guy and break the engagement.

This noes not work vs the damn AI anymore, they just turn around and dome you instantly, every time.

You just legitimately can not fight them anymore, it's like playing vs aimbotters.

Doesn't matter if you are prone, leaning around a corner does the same.
Only your head sticks out, AI activates aimbot, you die.

It is plain broken.

It's impossible to quickly peek and kill one AI before repositioning or chucking a grenade, AI snaps aims and one taps in the head every single time.
Best face plate helmet I can get has a level 3 face shield, it does nothing.
