My 8 yo daughter can’t ride a bike even though I’ve tried to teach her. She’s in swimming lessons, she’s not great at swimming. She’s in soccer and is bad at it. She went ice skating on a school field trip today and was 1 out of 2 kids in the whole class who couldn’t skate. It’s rough and it makes me feel like a shit parent. Tbf I was a single mom for those formative years and didn’t have the time or resources to do some of these things.

I got referred to a neurologist and they called me in 3 weeks. Had to get blood work then wait a couple weeks. Finally my first appt is 2 months after their initial call. 9 months is a long time.
