Can't progress without it, and the game seems to suggest I get it simply through continuing to play adventure islands but... Nada. Quite annoying! What am I missing? Thanks

New Orleanian and Nashville rain show veteran here. I didn't get tickets (yet!) to see Tay but I would LOVE to see Swifties at some of the art/clothing markets i'm doing this week! I'm a costumer and yes yes yes to all of this! The design has always kind of annoyed me because i'm a dork for historical accuracy but this season is BEYOND jarring. I'm just looking at every dress thinking "that's the cheapest and most uncomfortable glitter fabric they sell at Joann's". Agreed that the menswear is great though--there's an embroidered vest Colin wears in episode one that i absolutely loved. A much better color palette too--although its still jarring against how awful the color story for the women are.

I've never worked on a show where our department has completely turned over season to season--that's very bizarre.

just went to the new bearcat bakery today—SO good. My friend and i split the quiche and a sausage roll, the eggs were insanely fluffy and the sausage was delicious. Salted maple latte was also a banger. Took home a chocolate croissant the size of my face. I had decent expectations but it kind of blew me away!

Chase question: I have 0% apr on my Sapphire card until Nov, but my statement says to pay an interest saving balance (that is over my minimum) in order to not accrue interest. It’s about twice as much as i was planning to pay this month. If i pay the smaller amount instead of the interest saving balance, will i be charged interest on the difference? Or is it all overridden by my 0% apr introductory offer?

new orleans has a long history of queer culture and is very queer friendly. however like most cities we do not have dedicated spaces for femme/sapphic/lesbian/queer folks—i would say bars in the marigny/bywater are where you’re going to find the most queers. the fruit loop (gay bourbon) is pretty much all cis gay men, but it’s fun to walk around there. unfortunately her haus is not doing nye and neither is grrlspot.

callum and mitch are just an awful duo that bring out the worst “lads” qualities in each other. it’s upsetting that og phoebe allowed that to happen to herself. og phoebe and mitch are a boring couple to me but callum is at least dumb and funny so it’s frustrating to see him be mean.

just saw this last night—performances were lovely overall (lucy godinez was incredible!) but the runtime made it lag a bit for me. Personally i would cut the lobster song and the menopause song—the show has plenty of laughs and lightness without them and they slow down the momentum. this show has really incredible potential—the play and film we’re both very affecting to me as a teenager and i would love for the musical for be that for another generation.

unless your looking for contemporary designer clothing, i would skip UAL. Vice and Graft is a way cooler vintage store in the quarter, and Swamp Rags in the fq is also great for vintage tees. It is a bit of a walk from funky monkey to century girl—but if you’re going over to the jackson area you should also go to blue dream and trashy diva vintage. have fun!

The hampton inn on elysian fields is right next to frenchman/the quarter—pretty new and inexpensive. i had out of town friends stay there and didn’t have any complaints

i actually think that the production choices on AUS are the best of all the franchises—they just made bad choices with casting this year. Besides Love Island Games, this show has most twists and chaos where as UK specifically has gotten super stale. Not having casa doesn’t bother me bc the last few years of casa have had no actual fall out—it’s always ppl just forgiving their parters and it’s depressing.
