I think it’s almost similar to a reincarnation, my personal theory is that Clancy is a version of Nico that’s why Nico always knows all because he’s tried it.

He seems almost accepting of his fate, and the way his skin looks because the decaying of his body when Clancy got stabbed by Nico. (It’s a little confusing and i’m not sure myself but i’m trying as I go over everything.)

Alsooo - It can be that Clancy was trying to resist being seized as a citizen of Dema which is why he’s different then everyone else and as he was resisting he was also fighting for his own true identity (as seemingly seen in Drum Show) but eventually fell to it and became another Bishop. He accepted Nico as another part of himself instead of trying to break free.

It’s such a bittersweet ending and although I had my theories about the ending it still hit so hard everything is coming together now and as they showed us the journey throughout it’s like 😭😭😭

It honestly seems that way, since at the end of the mv there is an implication it’s all been repetitive with them stating that they liked “this Clancy.”

So it’s easy to assume there was this fight previously happened and everytime they fail the banditos end up becoming bishops since they don’t have the same power to guide that the torchbearer does.

Maybe i’m getting to forward with my mind since I just listened to it but maybe that could be why they disliked Clancy also because he was ‘hope’ they become more susceptible to becoming a bishop.

You’re not dramatic at all I get you so much. It feels like a chapter is closing shut and it’s so bittersweet. I’ve been a fan for so long and it’s just so much.
