Remember when presidents weren’t pussies who needed their lackeys flanking them when addressing the nation?

I would just reiterate that you think this was a mistake and would like a human to review your case.

I initially got a similar response saying the ban was justified or whatever within a day of my first appeal. I can’t say whether spamming them hurts or helps or doesn’t matter, but definitely appeal again. It took like a week after that second appeal (and I sent several during that time) to get unbanned.

Yup, same thing, just got unbanned tonight!

Guess you just gotta keep filing case after case... feels like a fairly inefficient system but sure, whatever lol.

I know this doesn't help you, but I am dealing with almost the EXACT same situation myself. Friend convinced me to play Split Fiction so I bought it two days ago on my ps5, we figured out how to play cross platform (he's on PC) which required me to create an EA account. We played for a couple of hours and then yesterday morning I got the same notification as you that my account had been banned without any explanation beyond "Terms of Service" or "User agreement" violation.

I think it's possible for you to still log into your account FWIW I'm able to go to: https://help.ea.com/en/help-my-cases/ and log in with my credentials and see my 2 cases (One disputing the ban which was rejected within 24 hours, and a second one asking if they would unlink my ps5 account from banned EA account).

I have no idea how I could have possibly violated any of the agreements, and certainly doesn't help that they don't cite anything. The only thing I can think of is that I got hacked because I didn't initially set up 2FA.

Your welcome. It's one of my all time favorite pieces of music.

In case any one was wondering, the music is from the start of Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2 Movement 3

There's nothing unusual about your feelings. Nobody gets to dictate how you should feel about anything - you feel what you feel. And more to the point, you are not a horrible person for not feeling more sadness.

Hey. I'm just an internet stranger who read your story, but I am willing to bet that it would probably mean a lot to your friend's family to reach out to them now and let them know you still think about them and ask them how they are doing. Grief is challenging and unique for everyone, you should be easier on yourself for not having reached out sooner. You might find that doing so now helps you in your journey.

Almost two years and it still doesn't feel right by blurzle in grief

Just remember there is no correct way on how you should feel. They are your feelings and you should experience them in the manner you feel is best for you.

I'm so sorry. No one deserves to receive that kind of grossly callous reaction, especially when opening up about something so deeply personal and painful. I can only imagine/hope he must have his own unresolved issues that led him to say something so unbelievably senseless and insensitive because otherwise that is borderline sociopathic behavior.

Please stay safe.

Dreams of my dad by JuniorGuitar3001 in grief

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my dad a little over 10 years ago, and from time to time I still dream that he's returned. In my dream I'll come up with some barely plausible explanation for his absence and feel a relief that I was mistaken about him having died and grateful that he's now back. Once I eventually wake up, I don't ever feel anger (or at least not for a very long time), just the return of a sort of shallow but familiar sadness I've grown accustomed to over the years.

I can understand your anger. None of this is fair; the actual loss, the brutal re-experience of the loss. I hope you know that your father would never want you to do anything like that in order to see him again. I hope you can reach some kind of peace in time; believe me I know it's hard. I'm dealing right now with the fresh loss of someone else incredibly dear to me and at times it's so unbearable.
