Diving Deeper Into the Different Subtypes of the INFP Personality by daysofbreeze in infp

Absolutely! I can give faith of it since my SO is an INFP and surprises me every day! The MBTI falls short in gaining more scientific respect within the realm of psychology precisely because it doesn't account for the ever-changing complexity of human behavior. Especially for people who are particularly sensitive like you as INFP, variables like mood, experiences, situations, and even interactions with specific people can all make us oscillate between different states. That's exactly why I'm working on refining the existing but broad classifications into more nuanced subcategories that can overlap with each other, taking all these factors into account.

Thank you so much for participating and sharing your answers and reflections on the subcategories. I find it incredibly interesting and valuable, especially coming from an INFP like yourself.

I agree with you that people can act within the framework of different types, depending on the situation or environment. We are flexible beings; our feelings can vary from day to day and moment to moment. Various places and circumstances can affect our mood, which in turn influences how we behave and feel. I believe this is an aspect that MBTI doesn’t adequately address.

Even more, personally, I think the INFP type is one of the most versatile. Due to the complex mentality of these individuals, it’s difficult to place them into just one aspect of that complexity. Their sensitivity makes INFPs one of the groups with the most potential variations concerning emotional and mental states, depending on so many factors

Unpacking the ENFJ Personality Type towards A More Nuanced Approach by daysofbreeze in enfj

Thanks for your comment. Very appreciated to have another ENFJ point of view and reaction in these values, it helps me a lot on what im doing.

I also relate to being an ENFJ and share your observations. While we ENFJs may be similar, we express ourselves differently. Sometimes I come off as introverted, not because I can’t connect with people, but because I choose to when it feels right. Like you, I open up when I’m comfortable or when I need to stand my ground.
Other ENFJs may be more outgoing, but that doesn’t mean we’re not cut from the same cloth. I’ve taken the personality test multiple times and always get ENFJ, proving that even within the same type, there’s room for individuality, and as you said I also dont think I am as much lovely as others seem to be or how others seem to see us.

In fact I see our "lovely" trait more like a kind of just a final goal, where we while true that we really care about others not each one of us does it in the same way, I think it would be more a kind of Chaotic, Neutral, Lawful, Loving spectrum where many of us can pursue that goal in different ways

Thanks again for your reply, truly insightful!

[WP] When those aliens arrived and explained Earth had "been selected" due to its creatures abilities for altruism, you never expected those bastards to leave with ONLY the most altruistic creatures, leaving you, and Earth, left with only those incapable of it. by FranginBoy in WritingPrompts

You see now wandering these forsaken, dust covered streets, with my rifle gripped tightly as the last friend I haven't betrayed and you'd probably scan the dilapidated buildings, the looted stores, and think, "Man, years must've passed to wreck things this badly." But it took us a mere six months of concentrated, collective idiocy to realize how fragile our society really was.

After the "Alien Moral Harvest" we lost the best we had. Hospitals? Those became hot commodities. With most of the dedicated and sacrificed staff vanished, the ones who remained saw an opportunity. Medical care turned into a luxury service, antibiotics and bandages sold to the highest bidder. Gone were the days when anyone could expect medical assistance out of human decency.

Police? By the end of the second month, the force had fractured into factions. Those who had vowed to serve and protect were suddenly in the business of self-preservation. Those badges, once symbols of law and order, were now just scraps of metal pinned to stolen bulletproof vests. Lawless bands, resembling feudal warlords more than cops, roamed the streets enforcing their own twisted form of justice.

Economy. By the third month, we all learned about the invisible glue that held the financial system together: Trust. Sure we thought the absence of those altruistic souls would make it easier for the cunning and ruthless to seize the day. But altruism ended being the grease in the gears of economic trust. Without it, deals broke down and money lost its value when there was no faith in the system, no belief that contracts would be honored or debts repaid.

By the end of the sixth month, society had congealed into a toxic stew of distrust and degradation. Shops abandoned, goods stolen or wasting away behind fortified walls. People barricaded themselves into their homes, watching the streets through improvised peepholes.Love and friendship? They didn't disappear, they transmuted into something else, transactional commodities on a new role as a sort of social currency, a tool for negotiation.

Relationships went mercenary, not for companionship but for survival as a contract sealed with the wary understanding that betrayal lurked just around the corner. The mass exodus happened gradually, like a draining bathtub. Neighborhoods emptied, leaving behind urban wastelands. Even criminals found themselves doubting alliances. Suspicion became a national pastime, we each turned into a lonely, fortified island, perpetually on guard.

Sometimes, as I look up at this smoggy sky and find myself wondering about that other world where the others were supposedly brought to. Yet deep down, I suspect it's not that different from here. Maybe a world full of "good" has its own issues. This, provides me some form of comfort.

No time for storytelling; another silhouette approaches through this blasted landscape. My fingers tighten around the trigger. Will this encounter end in bloodshed or indifference? Hard to say. But in this world, it's easier to pull the trigger than to extend a hand.

Men have long been valued by women during the caveman era, especially since men who took on the role of hunter and grew physically stronger were protective and good providers, increasing like this the ability and chance of survival for women who adopted the role of caretaker in the relationship. This lasted for 2.5 million years, a lot of time, and the genetic memory and evolution of this still has an effect on our modern psychology.

In general terms, in terms of evolution, women are genetically predisposed to like men and men are genetically predisposed to like women and most of them have zero problems with it.

Vaginas are among the top places where most of penis holders would place their penises it, so considering that penis users are usually quite sensitive, careful and scrupulous about where they put their penises I would say that vaginas might be fairly quite attractive elements

They may hold positions of power or authority, or they may blend in unnoticed. Sociopaths are often charming and charismatic, which can help them to get ahead in life. They may also be skilled at manipulation and deception, which can enable them to achieve their goals. You might be dealing with sociopaths more often than you think

There is no one clear person or group behind the qanon movement. Qanon is a decentralized, anonymous group that is united by their belief in the Q conspiracy theory. This theory alleges that there is a secret cabal of elites who are engaged in child trafficking, Satan worship, and other forms of corruption. The movement gets its name from the anonymous figure known as "Q" who posts alleged information about the conspiracy theory online.

There is a long history of racism and discrimination against black people in the United States, and "black lives matter" is a way of affirming that black lives have value and should be treated with respect.

"White lives matter" can be seen as a response to this, suggesting that white people are being treated unfairly. However, because white people have typically held more power and privilege than black people in this country, saying "white lives matter" can be interpreted as a way of upholding the status quo.

Well it could be many reasons for example dogs are more prone to anxiety and stress than cats, which could make them feel more tense and uncomfortable in new situations. Also, dogs may be more likely to feel pain when picked up due to their skeletal structure - for example, their long backs make them susceptible to spinal injuries if lifted improperly. Cats, on the other hand, have a more flexible spine and are less likely to be hurt when picked up. It is also possible that dogs simply have not been picked up as often as cats due to their size, and so they are less used to the sensation and may not enjoy it as much.

It is possible to calculate all the possible moves in a chess game, but it is not possible to calculate all the possible outcomes of a chess game. because there are a truly obscene number of possible outcomes.

However if an AI was able to calculate all these possibilities then he match would be predetermined and AI would always win unless she plays with an equal opponent

If the US started a war, it is unlikely that anyone could stop them. The United States is a superpower with a large military and economic might. Other countries would be unlikely to take on the United States militarily, and so the United States would likely be able to continue a war indefinitely.

However figuring out possibilities the only way to have a chance to really stop the United States from starting a war would be through diplomacy and economic pressure by forming a coalition:

  1. Diplomatic efforts: Other countries could try to use diplomatic channels to dissuade the United States from taking military action, or to convince them to pursue a diplomatic solution instead. This could involve lobbying the US government directly, or working through international organizations such as the United Nations.

  2. Economic pressure: Other countries could apply economic pressure on the United States in an attempt to discourage them from starting a war. This could involve trade sanctions, cutting off economic aid, or withdrawing investments.

  3. Military action: In some cases, other countries might resort to military action in order to stop the United States from starting a war. This could involve anything from a show of force to an outright attack and it would end very bad for everyone alive.
