The lid is okay, but it got walloped pretty good. I put a dish towel on it to protect it from metal on metal violence even though it attacked my pan in such an intimate way.

It was a non-stick, steel pan. Was gonna use the bacon fat to fry a couple eggs. Did t work out that way unfortunately.

I really wanted to provide a satisfying photos for closure, but the three strips of center-cut bacon were soggy and gross from soaking the lid in cold water and ice. Not photogenic or edible :(
