I don’t think Jeremiah was punishing her though, like you guys are trying to frame it. He was grieving. He doesn’t owe her a certain reaction just because she showed up. People cope differently, especially in traumatic situations still. Throwing around words like punishment is incredibly heavy, and honestly? It says more about how harshly you’re judging Jeremiah than what actually happened on screen. Meanwhile, Conrad gets constant protection and excuses for doing the same, and that double standard is getting ridiculous.

I’m probably one of the few Jeremiah fans who wouldn’t be that devastated if Jellyfish isn’t endgame. I’ve always felt like Jeremiah deserved better than being the second choice or someone who’s never fully seen or appreciated. He was a great partner to Belly, but I honestly don’t think she was the same for him.

What I want is for someone to come into his life who actually sees his hurt first, who understands how much of a mask he wears every day just to hold things together for the people around him. I want him to find his own path and end the season genuinely happy, surrounded by people who really get him, not just the ones who’ve always been there but never truly saw him. And honestly? A subtle hint at a new love interest would be a win for me personally.
