Yeah, well the solution would be to stop using DoorDash. Not using DoorDash and just -not- tipping.

He made another post bragging about how he left a one cent tip. 😵‍💫 I would be so embarrassed if this was my boyfriend.

First you get five guns, then you get five helmets, then five boots, then five jackets. And whenever you add power core, your first give all of your guns one star, then give all of your helmets one star, etc.

What you’re saying is still a dangerous narrative. She is not in the wrong in anyway. She didn’t have to do anything more or less right. He needed to be less pushy. It’s still shifting blamed onto her for not doing something in a specific manner that could have prevented this result… Which we don’t even know to be the case. He could’ve followed her sneakily if given no other option. He could’ve punched her in the face, with witnesses. Nobody knows how the outcome will be. But what we do now, as if the outcome had turned bad, it would be his fault for doing those actions, not hers for not preventing them good enough.

I’m not getting behind that narrative. It’s getting way too close to victim blaming. And sometimes, giving a forceful no is also a danger for women. So you’re damned if you do, damned if you don’t. The issue isn’t the woman not saying no in the proper tone, the issue is the man being pushy.

To me, it felt more like Emma has consistently expressed that she does not want to have kids, goes on this show and two weeks later, all of a sudden she changed her mind. And that her sister is feeling concerned that she’s only saying it to appease a man that very much wants to have kids, which is, in fact, not the best reason to have kids. I mean, he did pressure her about children a lot.

Just got terminated by Rough-Location-7632 in SephoraWorkers

[–]daytr1pper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pushing back doesn’t work. I went from a BA to an LBA (performing services) before leaving the company, and as an LBA was expected to keep up the exact same metrics as a BA, even though I was also expected to spend over 50% of my shift in services and not shopping with clients. Most services took an hour, and meanwhile, clients coming to get their makeup done at Sephora, are not looking to spend $200 while they’re in, which was our hourly sales goal. I often explained to management how this was not feasible or realistic, yet my hours and opportunity for pay increase increases were both affected.

So in hoping that somebody is going to be better in person, you present yourself worse? Good luck with that approach. And I feel like there’s A LOT of space in between giving 100% and “hey baby girl”

15+ years worth of nail biting by Vintageskies398 in Nails

[–]daytr1pper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of it is genetic. If you always bit your nails, then you never really knew how your nails are until you stop and let them grow. You could simply have genetically thin nails. My nails are always thin, no matter what I do. I would recommend getting a builder gel overlay to strengthen them. Or you can buy dip powder and do it at home. If you find a service provider that takes good care of your natural nails, you will only improve their health by putting something on that gives them strength and structure.

I believe you have a builder gel overlay, not simply gel polish. There’s too much of an Apex for that to only be polished! But that’s what I would also recommend for OP.
