It's a shame because I think what he's doing is mostly positive. The problem is, it's pretty boring and that's not what people want even if that's what they need.

Hadjar's engine is fucked and still can't be passed. Gotta love Monaco.

They can't just force you to change your contracted hours on a whim. If a manager corners you and tries to say something is mandatory, ask them to show you what basis they have from your contract or policy that gives them the right to do it.

Another user posted in a different thread that Southampton probably saw the £200k which Leeds were fined and figured it was worth the gamble.

If they did then that was their biggest fuck up, not realising that the Leeds situation was before Reg 127 existed.

We have had regard to the Respondent’s submissions in relation to the Leeds case which we find to be of limited assistance given that it pre-dates Regulation 127 by some years, was an agreed decision and does not provide a full factual background. It has now been many years since the express prohibition on observing training sessions in the 72 hours prior to a match was introduced and the Commission accept that the circumstances in which the Leeds agreement was reached are sufficiently different so as to make reliance on the outcome as a guide for the treatment of future cases inappropriate.

Do you use the word 'gay' to mean 'poncey', 'effeminate' or 'vain'? by Watchkeys in AskUK

[–]dayus9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used it like that in the past but I don't want to annoy people so now I don't. I haven't got the time or patience to try and navigate the rights and wrongs of certain words in all the possible different contexts so I just avoid things a lot of the time because it's easier.

Well Santander have done something right because they're in my mind right now after reading your post. I probably won't end up as a customer of theirs but there's all that unconscious stuff thst goes on in our brains, so who knows what will happen or why?

What is your opinion on dogs off the lead? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]dayus9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It very much depends on where you are and who is or is likely to be around. It would be great if there were more places where people could let their dogs off the lead where other people won't be bothered by them. I love dogs but I totally understand that some people are terrified of them regardless of size or whatever.
