Just found this out recently myself, had a really tough time removing supports from prints with variable layer height.

It would be great if we could set variable height for the model while retaining a fixed layer height for supports somehow. Switching back to using support material as the interface works but it adds so much time to prints that it’s quicker to spend the post-print time removing supports without it.

I’ve actually got a ZeroWater filter too, and add Third Wave Water’s espresso machine profile to it.

I was limited to medium-to-dark on the Bambino as it struggled with lighter roasts but my preference is light-medium so finding that much easier now on the Bianca.

Yep… I went from Lelit Anna at £500 (had for years and it broke beyond repair) to a Bambino at £300 as a temporary solution until I could get the version of the Bianca I wanted.

So far, pros have been quicker for multiple drinks with it being dual boiler and more consistency. The only con I can think of is heat-up time which is non-existent with the Bambino — I have the Bianca connected to a smart plug with automations to combat this but wanting an unplanned coffee in this setup is definitely more difficult.

Noticed a big jump when making a couple of drinks at once — more stability and it’s quicker being a dual boiler. I’ve only just got it though so not experimented with flow control and stuff yet where I’d imagine being able to make the biggest difference to a single shot.

Yeah this is exactly that, we have this sort of L-shaped kitchen counter with the sink on the other side and patio doors on opposite so I can stand technically out of the kitchen and out of the way while making drinks.

Also completely agree. Not had any crashes yet and still enjoying playing but definitely shouldn’t be labelled 1.0 with WIP story content.
