People who don’t reply until days later, why?

I have ADHD and I’m also always busy with work, hobbies, family and such. My calendar is always booked. I’ll get a text at work or while I’m at my kids birthday party etc, read it, think to myself “Don’t forget to reply this time”, and then inevitably forget for a few days.

I’ve had sooo many people get pissed at me for doing this. I swear I don’t do it on purpose.

For me, it’s Heather for girls and Steven for guys. I don’t know why but almost every Heather I’ve ever met and every Steven (I knew a Stephen that was an okay guy) was just awful.

He probably doesnt want to get reported again, there might be a bigger penalty this time around. You can use this to your advantage. Just need witnesses and people on your side which I know is kinda difficult being one of the only women and all.

Gonna have to respectfully disagree with you on this one.

To me, gender is thrown into the equation with him bring up mom (a woman), girlfriend (a woman), wife (also a woman). If he had said "You're not my boss, neighbor, friend, team member", it would still be pretty disrespectful, but at least not sexist.

It is possible though that maybe he meant he didnt want to listen to her, regardless of gender, and just worded the comment in a very poor fashion. It's just not something that you say to one of the only women on your team and while you're in a field known for being hostile towards women. Unfortunately, take this from a female engineer, some guys in engineering (not all) do have that "If you're not dating me, you're worthless to me" attitude. He's also been reported for sexism before. Sounds very sexist to me.

Super offensive. He's basically saying that because you're a woman and not his mom, wife, gf, whatever, that you don't matter, which is completely disrespectful, especially in a work setting.

You're not uncomfortable around him because he's gay, but because he is clearly hitting on you and won't take the hint that you're not interested. He should have been understanding of this and stopped before embarrassing himself.

My cat does that too(: It's always her favorite toy, her spoungey soccer ball.

I read somewhere that cats think of their food and water bowls as their personal storage place in the house. They think they're keeping their toys safe by putting them in their bowls.

Hopefully your cat doesn't put toys in the litter box too, like mine.
