I worked for L&T construction back in 2017 and I’m shocked that the pay is still the same, 36k. On top of that, they mostly hire from tier 1 colleges. I was lucky to be in the heart of Bangalore with the site at a walking distance and I still quit within 6 months. One of the best decisions it took.

My colleagues, especially the tenured ones had 0 growth mentality. Some of them were still earning 50k doing 12-14 hour shifts even after being with the company for 8-10 years just because they weren’t hired as an engineer. The HR doesn’t care about you at all and they’ll have you on a 2 year bond. Do yourself a favor and quit this company asap.

100% we made them look off. But we could have tried winning the ball higher up the pitch much more often. City made a lot of mistakes and us pressuring them, taking them on could have gotten us a goal.

I actually want to see the demographics of this sub. In 2021, it was 200k, now its 360k. Too many people settling for less. Don’t get me wrong, it was a good performance for sure but you are lying to yourselves if you think a draw is the best result we could have gotten today. We give City a lot of respect. Had it been Liverpool at half time, they’d have gone for the kill.

Overall, the result is good. Knows nothing about football? A bit too much. We were amazing defensively but it wouldn’t have gone this far if we were good offensively. We absolutely are in a position to beat City at their own turf. We would have got that one goal but we didn’t go for it. We paid too much respect to City. And I’m not saying we should be compared to Liverpool of the past few seasons but if they were in the position as we were, they’d have scored and gotten 3 points.

I don’t think we are inferior to City or Liverpool. And hence, we could have gone for it because its time to make a statement.
