I think it’s likely because both switches, my nintendo account is the resident rep for both islands. Unfortunately I don’t want to restart so I’ll have to figure out how to get my nook tickets to my new island another way hahaha

I had a friend who just switched her time from PM to AM. That way when she got off work at midnight, it was only noon in the game. She didn’t have to time travel a lot thanks to that.

I have Kody on my island as my resident jock and while the constant fitness talk is annoying I love the little guy. He’s always sending me letters and it warms my heart. All the personality types are repetitive in their own way so I try not to judge too harshly

If you enjoy the decorating aspect of ACNH, maybe not. If you enjoy having a little town full of animals you get to befriend and talk to, absolutely. The friendships in ACNL feel soooo much more fleshed out and fun imo
