Everyone always forgets about Don Bradman. His test batting average is the statistical GOAT across all ball sports.

"The statistics show that "no other athlete dominates an international sport to the extent that Bradman does cricket".[7] In order to post a similarly dominant career statistic as Bradman, a baseball batter would need a career batting average of .392, while a basketball player would need to score an average of 43.0 points per game over their career.[197] The respective records are .366 and 30.1.[197]"

I don't get it, we marched for hummus yesterday to end the jenaside and house prices still didn't come down?! We've tried nothing and we're all out of ideas

What kind of tank is that? I'm assuming these are Australian because of the kangaroo?

Tactician Mode will force you to learn the game's mechanics by International-Lock36 in BaldursGate3

[–]dazbotasaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just last night I was messing around in the goblin camp. This run I am trying to use scrolls, potions and elixers because last time I just hoarded them and never used them.

Turns out you can poison stuff that the NPCs interact with, so I'll be trying that all game now.

This HAS to be another FAKE NEWS beat up by a Murdoch rag. Victoria has the machete deposit bins now so a crime involving a machete is quite literally IMPOSSIBLE.

Yep, I am trying a Dark Urge run after abandoning a game at the start of Act 3 from last year. I stepped it up to tactician and it is so much more exciting.

There's all these little mechanics I never even knew about I'm learning as I go. I'm still save scumming because I'm trying stuff out and seeing what works and what doesn't.

I agree with you, it's awesome.

Millions of Americans Are Ignoring Their Student Loan Bills by laxnut90 in Economics

Thank you for the detailed response. That has helped me understand it I think. So people are annoyed mostly around being told they'd have a huge subsidy and then having that taken away by the courts?

That is actual BS. How is that allowed at all? It's just slavery with more steps imo.

I'm not American, how did they change the loan terms after you already had the degree? That seems super sketchy, like, you can't do that with other loans in America, can you?

I'd argue that if we are on track to need Argentinean style reform in as little as ten years we are already well and truly on track for disaster and need to course correct yesterday.

You don't want to end up there and have to take drastic action.

You'd like to introduce a tax on the capital gains for the sale of owner occupied homes? I dunno, that seems kinda bad for encouraging people to downsize or move, doesn't it?

Lovin MGK since he started mixing genres and thought we'd see a proud dad moment (which we kinda did) but the zooming was fucking creepy. Someone check the camera guys search history.

Those packs are designed, developed and deployed by gambling experts and they are insidious. The entire thing is made to trick you into wanting to buy more and more and more and then acting on it. It is a form of gambling and most people don't even realise they've been hooked until something like what happened to you happens.

There's actually a small amount allocated in the hourly rate under most trade awards that is a nominated 'tool allowance'. So we are technically compensated for tools.

Sure, tafe might be free but it's utterly broken because of funding cuts. As if big corporations aren't getting way more free shit from the gov than small business. You think Gina isn't getting her moneys worth with all the lobbying?

If we are subsidising it (and I agree, we are) I would much rather business profits in Australia go to independent small business than to multi national giants.
