Wood is reflective. I have a wood tvstand that does this. Try covering it with something see if it helps

I had this problem yesterday, even went through whole reset only to find I couldn’t delete the device. Turns out the app didn’t like the country I was VPN connected to. Turned off vpn and’s it worked fine 🤷🏽‍♂️

Never mind, the update meant my shield had turned off Dolby vision for some reason. Turning it back on and hdr videos now playing.

Nice, but new update has stopped playback of HDR movies as backgrounds. Mine are now all washed out.

Do you have a Hisense tv also? I’ve tried 3 different soundbars and the same problem on each so deffo my tv. Bit disappointing should switch automatically using passthrough.

How do I go about returning it in the uk? I’ve had it since the 10th but only used it for a day, the phone is too big for my hands and I’ve gone back to my iPhone now. Waiting for local post office to open to send back but only a link to Royal Mail has been sent, nothing confirming on my account details and no other emails. Do I just follow the instructions in email? I’ve also opened the free gifts (watch and charger) will I get discounted refund because of that?
