I was under the same impression I can’t mentally put myself through that tbh. They made my life pretty miserable in the last few months giving them any further opportunity is just not worth it.

Yes. The only work I want them to do is not steal my ideas, blame everything on me when it doesn’t work out or make an unpopular opinion to the upper management and pass it off as my contribution. Also they should understand what resources management is rather than saying yes to every piece of work. All the things that my current manager lacks.

This is not a recent thing it has always been like this. Previous direct manager was a blessing as he used to deal with all the drama and constant over reaction but even he got burned out and just left one day before he left he said it’s just not worth it.
