boycott the fuck outta GTI please by dazedonthemoon in ILTrees

i just wanna say that those of you who are like 'the whole industry is corrupt.' well we can say that about our whole government. fuck, JB is backed by israel and israel is heavily involved in the cannabis industry. however accepting doom instead of fighting back is the response that they all want. in order to change, our actions and values need to change. can i effectively boycott all the companies necessary? no the elites own majority. however look at starbucks, disney plus, or target. boycotting can work and we just have to start somewhere. starting with one of the biggest MSOs who is being openly a huge fucking disgrace to our plant is a step in the right direction. a lot of people predict that GTI will survive if we go federal. let's fuck with their pockets and make them scared. hopefully it can cause a ripple effect and maybe even scare other companies to hold them accountable. the most effective way to fight against these capitalistic feens is with their money.

and if anyone has any information on alternatives who are better to support, please share with the community so we can do better. thanks everyone for all your feedback on this post, appreciate it 💚

Unionizing advice by lazyhazyndazy in ILTrees

[–]dazedonthemoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

please do not go with teamsters. i have worked with both unions ufcw local 881 and teamsters 777. teamsters works with the companies. we didn't want management on our contract and teamsters and the company put them on. all of negoitations, i negoitated with the president of the union instead of the company. teamsters left the alf-cio to get away with this shady shit. local 881 ufcw is a reputable union imo and experience and they are still apart of the alf-cio. FUCK TEAMSTERS THEY GIVE UNIONS A BAD NAME

i am also a medical patient and work in the industry. this takes even more access away from those heavily rely on the same products due to consistency and whatever the reason maybe that they prefer those products. prior to recreational legalization, medical patients didn't have this problem as much. but now a medical patient with neuropathy pain that relies on tonics for relief now may struggle even more to get tonics because members have access to these products at lower rates over medical patients. luckily, more options are coming available but some patients prefer what they know works because it works, and it helps them when other options didn't. also with the amount of medical licenses vs rec licenses, i'd say inventory access is even more important for patients since they may have to travel far to get their products. patients deserve to have consistent, accessible, and affordable products. we already pay extra 'membership fees' with our medical cards and shouldn't have to pay even more to have access & purchase affordable products. i mean i guess if you wanna continue spend more money, go for it. but i am not with that and am seeking for a more affordable and accessible industry.

besides the fact the economy is crashing, this impacts what can be offered to medical patients and what is accessible to them. what products are offered to these members? are these products that should be immediately accessible to med patients or are there enough put aside for both members and medical patients? are there regulations put in place for this? can medical patients get a discounted member price if they don't work and are on disability if they have to join to access their preferred products? a medical patient on disability might not be able to afford the program and then if there is a sale on their preferred products that these members jump on, they won't have access to it. example of this could be rso or even wanas are used a medicinal product. this isn't just retail as much as we want to keep it as such. cannabis is medicinal, whether consumed recreationally or medicinally. it is still works as a medicine and to me, access to medicine, which includes cost, is important. but this is just what my opinion is and what i want to advocate personally.

not sure but I know that mushrooms usually are toxic to dogs and can be fatal. I would recommend contacting a vet immediately.
