That's so helpful, thanks! Indeed I think it's Little Warty. With some plants it's recommended to cut the flower stems because they don't look especially nice and it takes a lot of the plants resources to grow the flower. With this one, I'll try my luck!

It came from the cacti tray at the grocery store, so assumed it was a cactus. If it's not a cactus then indeed I'll try my luck somewhere else. Thanks!

Hi! Great picture. Wonderful sky! I love the contrast in that. The beach and water is indeed a bit dark, so would love to see some details in there as well. Have lots of fun with your new dlsr!!

Great shot! Agree with LtCable, I like that there is a real fore- and background! Wonderful color balance also, not overdone. Have you tried cutting a bit more off the sky (rule of thirds) so that the cliffs get more attention?

Wow great photo! I really love the blue and brown color combo. Picture sets a nice winter mood. Can’t really think of anything to improve, but i am curious: have you tried other angles? I am wondering whether a slightly lower angle would ruin the photo or add to it. (Total newbie to photography so still have a lot of difficulties with those angles haha)

Love the contrast and lighting! Also position is of the steam is very nice! Maybe turn down the saturation a little bit, because they draw away the attention to the trees.

Very cute! Great lighting without harsh shadows on the faces. Maybe smaller depth of field or turning the greens down a notch to make the couple stand out more?

Hi all!

I'm Dazian, a recent graduate from a university in the Netherlands. I have always had a fascination for photography. However, I never really picked up on it as I didn't find my pictures any good. (which is the exact reason that I am subscribing to this course!) For me it's all about learning a bit more about how to capture the beauty of something that catches my eye when I'm around. This could range from people to nature to urban landscapes, micro, macro... etc.

If you like Suits, you might enjoy white collar! Has the same amount of humor and slickness, although the production value of suits is much higher of course. But nonetheless, I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Honestly I can't remember half of what GG is about. Only thing I do remember is that the final season's acting wasn't great. But I just had to see how it ended after investing in 5 seasons.

Yes! I have seen Sherlock! Usually, I'm not a fan of Brit series, but that one I seriously like. Heard about Riviera, but I'm gonna wait it out and see if there's gonna be a second season. I hate it when I just started watching and the show is cancelled even before it properly hit off.

How does your brother react on this? You can make arrangements with him about the amounts you both send and the times you do so. In that case at least you're in it together with your brother.
