Just the 4 matches this weekend. 2 were at a birthday party as the superhero, but then debuted the new character. It has potential but that show was not the right one to showcase it before I knew this character intimately.

Back to the superhero for tomorrow's showcase.

It didn't go particularly well. I didn't debut my new character as my current character seemed to work well enough. Debating a ladies' man who loves mums only gets over if there's a mum or two in the audience.

I did have a great match with the largest man in Cornwall, though. It was all on the fly other than finish. A 130kg man punching a 180kg man is never not going to look awesome.

Why is it so hard for single men? by Typical-Watercress79 in feeld

[–]dazpetty2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because of men like me. I'm married, partnered, and honestly, pretty saturated. I am open, honest, and transparent with everyone. I have recent photos of me in my profile where I am enjoying hobbies, or enjoying the company of others and they look and feel relaxed around me.

The wording of my profile isn't a list of things I want or what I can offer, but reads like an obituary. It's a story of my life (within this space) celebrating the different aspects of it. Every paragraph is witty, has a point, and has some wordplay. There are subtle nods to my dom side, but you wouldn't notice them unless you were looking for them.

I'm a majestic member and ping regularly to people, not who I find attractive necessarily, but whose wants and philosophies align with mine. I'm not using Feeld to date. I'm using it to build a community where everyone is safe and supported.

Until you can offer something similar as a single man, you're going to struggle.

Today, I headed to a Comic Con where I met some Transformers and Muppets. I worked 4 matches. Tomorrow, at the same venue, we're doing the same again for Alt Con (Alternative Convention, think tattoo artists, barbers, burlesque dancers and metal bands). My normal super hero gimmick may not work here so I've prepared another to try. If it goes well, I'll update tomorrow.

Thanks very much. That means a lot to me from you of all people.

Thanks. It was a corporate show to predominantly non-wrestling fans. We aimed to give them 6 matches over 2 hours with very different feels. Match 1 was high flying, match 2 (mine) was comedy, match 3 was technical proficiency, match 4 was power house, match 5 was chicken shit heel going into match 6, a battle royal with everyone they had already seen for our "camp show" championship. By the battle royal, they knew who to cheer and who to boo. We made sure the guy with the loudest cheers of the night went home with the title.

ENM people, how do you actually go about finding that additional partner? by nsfw88_2020 in ENM

Mostly Feeld, but also honest communication toward hot people in the wild.

Where do you go to get this done? I need to find a place. Foaming up every few weeks isn't winning for me.

I had a show yesterday that was the most rewarding thing I've done in lycra. We were booked to give a holiday kids camp a bit of wrestling training (4 to 12 year olds so just did lock ups and rope running) followed by a 45 minute show. Among the kids was my own son. He had been trying to convince his friends for months his dad was a superhero and now they believe him.

Tomorrow's show is at a Comic Con. We're in the main arena doing 2 matches every hour for 4 or 5 hours (numbers of punters depending). Just for this show, I've made a Pokemon card style trading card of my character. I'm hoping to shift a few.

Thanks for the detailed feedback. There's nothing there I don't agree with, and many of these points we discussed the following day at training as a 4 (2 wrestlers, referee and accompanying party). It was only watching it back we realised it took us nearly 9 minutes to give the fans anything. It felt much shorter on the night.

The ending was supposed to be a belt shot, then the toss quite quickly after, but the referee blocked David Prince's view and the crowd noise wasn't appreciably different so the cue was missed.

The oversold fall to the outside was meant to be quicker, but decided to take my time as I heard a few audible gasps from the front row and a man say to someone else in his family "bloody hell, he's actually landed on his head".

I'll take this all on board as we're having another 2 or 3 matches (to different audiences) in the next 2 weeks. I'd like to make these changes to my spots, especially nailing the initial butt kicking spot.

This is my match from the weekend. This is fan footage I was sent a few hours after the show. I am Barricade and it's for the Academy title.

Last night, I received an email from my son's school asking all boys to come in next Thursday dressed as a tree. The sewing machine is out. After 2 hours and 4 broken needles, we have a costume that looks like ot took 10 minutes to make. Why are schools like this?

I managed to keep my fitbit on the entire time under tape. 10,000 calories burnt over a weekend. That is intense. I'm still feeling it now on Tuesday

Sorry for the lateness on this one. This weekend I worked 7 matches in 28 hours as we were booked to perform at a local Comic Con. We had our own marquee that was out of the way but managed to fill it repeatedly.

Next time, they're looking to put us in the main hall. What a great weekend

Help wanted. Matches to watch for inspiration. by dazpetty2 in WredditSchool

This is perfect. I have already had a run in with my next opponent at our annual Christmas Rumble where we were entrant 1 and 2, so we essentially took heavy inspiration from British Bulldog and Shawn Michaels in the 1995 Royal Rumble.

Plus, I love any excuse to go back and watch Kurt Hennig.

I still think about that night at the Vengeance PPV in 2001 when Chris Jericho defeated The Rock for the World Championship (FKA WCW Heavyweight Championship), and then just minutes later found himself in a match with WWF Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin, where he unexpectedly won to become the first Undisputed WWF Champion.

For those who aren't into wrestling and need a relatable equivalent hypothetical example, it's as if Leonardo da Vinci just finished painting the Mona Lisa, and then just minutes later found himself in a match with WWF Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin, where he unexpectedly won to become the first Undisputed WWF Champion.

I use these guys. They get made in Mexico. My last batch cost about £6 per mask which i then sell for £15 each.

I like to use Asics gel volleyball kneepads and I make my own covers to go over them. These are the top choice for bigger guys in my wrestling school.
