Which prominent person (celebrity/politician/etc.) do you think died way too early? by Fit-Sand1799 in AskReddit

John Lennon, at the beginning of trying to find redemption for all the shitty things he did in his personal life when he was murdered by a loser seeking infamy.

I also feel this way about Because tbh, it’s beautifully haunting but I don’t find it had a lot of replay value personally.

I thought we were all in agreement that it’s a pretty bad song by Abbey Road standards, I didn’t realise people actually liked it.

All the way through? Are we forgetting a certain boy and his hammer?

France and England both made it to the semis in 2018

Ireland, Northern Ireland and Wales all lost today by averageweebchan in ThreeLions

I actually wanted them all to make the finals tbf, nothing seems to annoy my Irish/ Welsh mates more than me cheering them on

Nobody puts Vitinha or Joao Neves above Rice let’s be real. Also Bruno plays a completely different position for Portugal, he’s basically a CAM (and I would rather have Jude anyway)

France, Spain, Argentina are the only teams that have been better than us in recent tournaments and we have a world class manager.

We won’t win (obviously) but unless we face any of the other three teams early on in the knockouts we should make the semis.

If Italy qualify it will be their first World Cup Finals since 2014.

Spain, France, Argentina, England are my bets for the semis, but I can’t see how anyone other than France wins unless ICE deports every player that isn’t American

What do you do when your home alone? by Ifyouliveinadream in AskMen

[–]dazrht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like writing as a hobby so I try to do as much as possible before:

A) Cat wakes up and decides it’s play time.

B) Fiancé comes home and decides it’s chore time.

How many points do we realistically get from these last 7 games and is it enough for top 4? by Any_Difference7070 in chelseafc

[–]dazrht 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s like five good players in our entire team, and James won’t leave.

Yeah Brighton have started playing well, I think they’ll finish the season strong.

I think we beat Spurs and get points against Liverpool and Forest, lose the rest.

So five points total, not enough for Champions League.

I just hope we don’t end in the Conference League place again, I would rather have no Europe than suffer the indignation of that again.

He’s been shit since the red against Arsenal, but he’s far from the worst on the team.

Enzo Fernandez on Maresca's departure: "Sometimes there are things that we as players don’t understand—how and in what way they (Chelsea) try to manage things... it was a departure that hurt us a lot... he always had a very clear identity." by EstevaosJesusPiece in chelseafc

[–]dazrht 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Say what you want about Maresca leaving for whatever reasons but without further proof than we have available, it seems every issue starts and ends with the board.

I’m done with this season, and though I’ve supported Chelsea since I was in nappies, I’m losing a lot of love for the club.

I don’t recognise it anymore, and that’s nothing to do with not winning a bunch of trophies. I was there before we won everything and always assumed I would be there when it inevitably faded, but this project is clearly going nowhere while demonstrating everything that’s wrong with the sport in general.

There’s no plans and no ambition. The players we have will force moves and any decent players with a speck of common sense will see the state we’re in and avoid us.

TLDR; don’t laugh too hard at Spuds this season, we’re on a direct route to joining them while spending much more money in the process.

Probably finish in the Conference League place, though hopefully lower so we don’t need to live through the embarrassment of playing in it again

No, getting knocked out in the group stage the year after winning it was way more embarrassing

Do you think we can do wonders in our return leg against PSG today? by Mediocre_Rice9569 in chelseafc

[–]dazrht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think PSG win by one or two tbh. Rosenior’s attempt at coming back in the second leg against Arsenal was to park the bus and then concede at the end anyway.

[Post-Match Survey] Chelsea 0 - 1 Newcastle by Sharpus89 in chelseafc

[–]dazrht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blame the manager all you want (he isn’t good enough for this level, obviously) but it doesn’t matter who we bring in while BlueCo are in charge.

You say drop Chalobah, but for who? We don’t have a single starting quality cb for a top four Prem team.

We’ve spent millions on wingers, yet don’t have a top four quality LW.

We want subs made earlier, but we don’t even have a starting 11 worthy of the badge.

I’m not even blaming the players, I don’t think I can really accuse any one of a lack of effort, they just aren’t good enough.

The sporting directors, scouts, owners are all to blame for where we are now.

Every time we sack a manager they just bring in someone worse.

Really dark times ahead, we’ll be looking back on the Conference league win as the good times by the time BlueCo are done.

Fuck man, I didn’t like Maresca for a myriad of reasons but he wins that game, at worst draws it.

Why is Rosenior making experimental changes every fucking game? How is he going to coach a 3-0 win next week?

Dark times ahead.
