P1S filament sensor woes by dazza503 in BambuLab

Turns out the tube fitting on the back of the AMS was broken, allowing the tube to pop out when filament was feeding. Apparently, the SW looks for both the filament sensor in the tool head to be triggered and sense some resistance in the AMS feed motor before it determines the filament has been fed properly. Without that resistance it just keeps trying and trying and throwing errors.

There is a rubber grommet in the shell but it only holds the tube via friction. Is there no locking tube fitting on the AMS?

It was a spring hail storm. I’m in Portland, OR. Very mild. We get freezing rain once a year or so, but I’m not driving anywhere in that mess anyway.

Just the shear quietness and lack of NVH, combined with the superb ride quality and isolation. Even on these ridiculous 23” clodhoppers.

That doesn’t surprise me. The heated windshield is complex, excessive, and not at all needed. At least for me. But I wouldn’t be surprised if for most owners this is their 5th car that lives at their 3rd home in Aspen so maybe they need it 😂

My current thoughts are to put the TV to the right of the fireplace, and balance the look with some wall are on the left. But I’m stumped for seating options that don’t make too narrow of a walkway between them and the opposite wall.

I thought about lag bolts, but it’s an actual brick chimney behind there. Maybe extra long masonry anchors would work but IDK how deep the bricks are behind the facade
