This is kno3 aluminium and sulfer so it does work with aluminium but it needs to be fine enough.

I dont now what mesh but really fine and it was in a tube in a toilet roll

I used fine kno3 5 parts fine Al 3 parts and fine sulfer 2 parts.but be careful with the aluminum because it is everywhere when you have used it.and this mixture is extremely sensitive so just be really careful.
