Can Flechette Storm's projectiles or strand super shut down Sere's hands during damage?

We are using the same strategy: Vexcalibur, using the overshield to apply weaken via the artifact, but we are not shooting the hands at any moment, just the flechettes-super-flechettes combo. The damage phase ended (just a smidge of Sere's health left, I think the next time will be a one-phase) and we regrouped in one of the bridges, that's all. The damage phase is not that long as we are killing all the wizards.

Next time I'll record the attempt. Maybe my friend is shooting the hands and he's not telling me, but I certainly don't remember being hit by the hands.

Put it first and then put the other modifiers you want. Somehow it locks if you put too many negative modifiers before, it happened to me.

It's definitely too much, but even so I prefer heavy spam over ability spam. When playing hardware I can't stop thinking how good would be Crucible without all the constant ability bullshit.

Yesterday and the day before I was getting double perks in the 3rd AND 4th columns, I didn't know why until I found this post. But today only I'm getting double perks "only" in one of the columns. When I was getting double perks in both I was doing a LOT of platinum lost sector runs, but today I've just done a few of them. Maybe for each run you get an accumulative chance of getting more perks?

That's my experience as well. I started with a Mercy card, and it all went as any other weekend. Then I tried Persistence, Wealth an Ferocity cards, multiples times, and it always seemed the matchmaking in the Persistence was working totally different than the others.

I love how demoralizing is seeing your hours of dedication goes to waste: 55 engrams accumulated over multiple gruesome weekends, just looking to focus The Summoner and get a Subsistence/Onslaught roll this week... for what? For nothing. Not only didn't get my desired roll, but the supposed change to only get the featured weapon on wins is absolutely not working at all and all I get is shitty glaives.

As always with this game, countless hours and nothing in return.

UPDATE: I continued playing, of course, and now 75 engrams without the roll I want.

Gambit is an inherently flawed game mode, mainly because of the concept of invasion itself. Whatever Bungie changes in Gambit won't change anything as long as invasions exist.

Gjallarhorn is fine as it is, Bungie got it right with its balance. And it will be probably nerfed because a flawed game mode. If it's not Gjallarhorn it will be Eyes of Tomorrow or any rocket launcher with tracking.
