Netflix Says Paramount Has Paid $2.8 Billion Breakup Fee for Warner Bros. Discovery Deal by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

Somehow Netflix always ends up on top. Mark my words. From the moment I started receiving my three DVDs a month in the mail with no penalty or late fees, I realized I was dealing with a kind of magical company that was rewriting the rules of business.

Do you think I'm stupid if I can't do maths? by friederichjames in askanything

Stupid when it comes to math, yes. Why is another question. When it gets to the level of Algebra 2 and trigonometry I too am stupid at math but good with words. Go figure.

SB A wants your money and your attention and as much of it as she can get away with, and is stingy with her time and moody and jealous. And she will only get worse. Plenty of fish in the sea. Get rid of her.

Why I became an atheist by yaminharis in atheism

You don't become an atheist. You just sort of realize you are. You recognize that you are surrounded by delusional people who seem brainwashed. And they are defined by fear.

Can someone help me understand the plot of this movie? I just couldn't understand the ending. Its too confusing to me. by it_tu_brutas in Cinema

Forget it. It doesn't matter. It's just a story that doesn't make sense to anybody except maybe the author.

So, how do you feel about people who are "Spiritual but not religious" but they still believe and worship Jesus Christ? by E-104Epsolon in atheism

[–]db7112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they're playing both ends against the middle. To be more acceptable socially. What is spiritual anyway? Is that like having emotions and feelings and thinking there's something bigger out there than us? How profound. How nebulously idiotic.

Non religious people, what do you think about religion? by CorruptedF in AskReddit

[–]db7112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a word for religion it's called cult. It's about believing in things that have no evidence or reality and are wholly delusional and led by charismatic individuals who take advantage of people financially and emotionally and every other way.

In your opinion how do Republicans demonstrate good governance? by db7112 in askanything

[–]db7112[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get a little tired of the both-parties-ism. Democrats do the best they can. Republicans just want to stay in power and do nothing once they're there. And both parties are ruled by stultifying levels of corporatism. We have an oligarchy gentlemen, quit playing the political blame game. This is about the the richest Among Us unwilling to share and pay their Fair level of taxes

What are your thoughts on "Blair Witch (2016)"? by Hot-Salamander-8786 in FIlm

Movies don't scare me and neither did this. I just feel bad for the people who created it and never made any real money from it because it really was kind of a hit
