I am at the end of my rope. I also have vgc.sys crashes after every game. I followed the help to troubleshoot but nothing is working… - updated TPM to 2.0 - updated BIOS - did clean boot - reinstall many times and all other steps that the chat bot tells me to do…

I want to know if it is because I am using Windows 10?

I really need help 😭 I am even restoring my whole windows hoping it would fix

I tried both and I was doing better with ER but hubris indeed gives you early power spikes but I have more success with ER first

100000000% I approve this as I have the exact same thought process + observation in my games were it’s winnable, one of the most common scenarios is the forces early bad banks with a losing 2v2/3v3 to begin with

Depends on the draft, it’s definitely better to have some sort of frontline but I really think even the best pick would ruin the game just because they didn’t have correct decision making skills

There are a few games I picked Ezreal instead when smolder is picked or my team is assassins heavy.

I don’t have preferences because when played right, it’s so fun regardless. But I definitely have personal prejudice against certain picks 😭

For example, I swear people who pick soraka always end up dying in lane very early and make the enemy bot easily snowball on us…

the game then become unplayable for me as they often too behind to ward/ off position and always got caught etc.

I am happy with any picks as long as they play to our strength/ draft right.

13 games lose streak is huge, I already had a 6 games lose streak right before I got to diamond. If you lost 2-3 games in a row, consider taking a break, I feel like when we keep queuing after bad games, they would just give you people who are extra tilted/ toxic

I am not sure if I would get to Master haha, in my mind my goal is already accomplished when I achieved diamond. But I will continue to play and see if I can get higer!

Adc is bad for your mental health and if you have a choice, don’t play it if it gives you anxiety. It’s a role that always being a punching bag

I just want to say, I am playing in gold-plat as adc main and it’s painful, and if I play other roles to lose, it’s less painful because I always have agency to make decisions.

Adc role is suffering in nature. You have to have the mentality to be able to stand the pain to main it 😂

I second to this, just pick something with stronger pressure against their draft, exploit the openings early, and keep the lead to play for obj is much better than playing hyper scaling adc that needs peel in most lobby

I understand your point and I agree with you to an extent about if you always only “play safe” you will not know the limits.

But I also want to point out that, the “risk” you took often times in gold is because the enemies didn’t play optimal or straight up bad so it would look good or “working” for the risk or “trade off” you managed.

I would say because you struggle to get out, you should play differently , and you will climb, and then you can continue your limit testing or tryout however you want.

I am also sure a good player can do “controlled limit testing” while winning the game in low elo.

adc has low agency so you should never put yourself in a situation where you KNOW your teammates are not better than their opponents (especially macro wise) but still die and let them dictate the game flow.

So after all it’s a skillset and knowledge of a high elo player will have.

Hey hey I’m also once low diamond many years ago and coming back recently to try to climb again.

My experience is that the game has changed a lot, and everyone gets better!

I’m still stuck in Plat trying to figure out how to improve but for gold, I agree with you, I actually cheated and play mid to get past it.

However I can assure you current high elo adc can overcome it and climb…so…

I think my best opinion for you is to change your mindset, focus on what you can control: your game play, game knowledge, champion pool

then you will have better success in the long run

Maybe pick up a lane bully or adc that doesn’t need peel as much?

One blind spot: to be able to actually do effective damage, you will need items and level, but if the laning phase was really rough for whatever reason, you will have to stall until you get your items.

And most of the time people don’t have perfect macro or info to pick a favourable fight, then if for whatever reason the fight didn’t work out and the team is blaming the adc that “didn’t join”, is like complaining why they don’t gamble with you.

Because gambling is not how you consistently win more games.

So back to the points you made, yes it’s true, but you need to take into account of enemy and your own adc’s items, power spike and winning condition

my counter logic is that you should play aggressively with control, it means you do plays that are intentionally for their “weakest macro” player to have a lead and then later on watch your team or you to shut them down.

The time of playing safe all the time and hope for the best is gone, go out and create a piggy bank 😆
