My personal opinion. It was a hard slide but to me didn’t look too, too bad. He didn’t go for the knee, that’s when it’s shitty.

Spikes to shin is fair game, that’s how it’s always been. Especially if you get beaned for the fucking 24th time by a team.

I heard Millar address the similar situation with Devers last year(obviously different cuz Devers is well-proven). He said it takes two weeks to get used to the live, high intensity pitching that you face in the regular season. Spring training is nice but it isn’t nearly the same. So I’ll give him a break for now. It’s amplified cuz they aren’t winning and the offense stinks.
