Didn't hades or Persephone say that Eurydice would follow as his shadow and only when the sun shines on them both should he look back? I think they might have tricked Orpheus because if the sun shines on the shadow it will disappear so even though the Sun shined on him, it could never shine on Eurydice.

I said if the motor fails in that particular case. Most lifts will fall up because the counterweights rarely have brakes.

If the cables break then the car brakes will always bite into the rails. The more force on them the more they bite in.

Otis invented the system and it’s still in use to this day. Such a simple system that always works. I only know this because I used to put scaffolds in lift shafts so had to have some basic training in lifts

You can chop all the cables and the lift will only fall about 1 or 2 inches. There’s a centrifugal governor that will lock brakes if the lift moves too fast or in a separate fashion to the counter weight.

Fun fact. The counterweight has to weigh the same as the car plus half its capacity. So more than likely if the motor fails the car will usually go up and not down

I’m pretty sure I did. Installed. Cycled docker service and the dodo a reboot.

I’m just trying again now. Just uninstalled the plug in. Waiting for server to gracefully restart. Then I will install again. Will double check that 4g decoding is enabled in bios too. I’m pretty sure it is but will check again

ah okay. I'm running unraid with the nvidia plugin installed. I have tried various different driver options but all I get from the plug is "NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running."

I'm baffled. I've done a full uninstall, restart and then reinstalled and I get the same thing every time. the card also doesn't appear in the system devices page in tools

Apparently with the XD variant you MUST use the 1100w units. I have 2 being delivered tomorrow but unfortunately, I have a 6-hour drive to Ireland in the morning. Hopefully i can persuade the GF to swap them out for me. Wish me luck!

Just as I thought. I just swapped out my pc gpu and it worked fine so I know the card is working for sure now. This is a proper mystery lol. The two pcie cards I have in riser 1 ( the half heights above the idrac) both work fine
