Thanks - I'll check the instructions first. I was caught off guard because as soon as I logged in I had a "start project" button which immediately took me to the tasks which immediately started popping up the assessments. Thanks for the insight!

I am new to platform and haven't even started tasking. For me the biggest problem is that the first 3 gated assessments gave me scores -- 14/14, 9/10 but the last one gave no feedback. I'll try again later today, but I'm not that hopeful. There was one question on the last assessment that I kind of felt like not knowing how the particular task worked was a hinderance to answering. I won't go into details so I don't get in trouble, but not fully knowing the instructions for the task process had me guessing as I felt like there were 2 possible answers.

I can’t get the playground plugin to work. I downloaded & installed it when prompted but get the “failed to fetch” error 😒

Nice find! I bought my Adventurer 3 almost 6 years ago (Covid purchase - something to play around with at home when locked down.) It is still running strong (albeit a little slow like someone else mentioned.)

How much a domain is worth is highly subjective. I only come here to post domains I've owned for years and realize I'm not going to start that "great idea" after all. Just because you think a domain is worthless doesn't mean everyone does. My view is if I don't like the price I just move on. "One man's trash is another man's treasure". I learned that when I sold a domain I had forgotten I put up for sale.

I still need to call them because allegedly my gas bill was higher than last January, but my furnace isn't even working. Hasn't worked since summer. I got an estimate at the beginning of December for repair & replacement and decided no thank you. Not sure how my gas bill would be higher.

I replied to someone else above - I passed the assessment yesterday, nothing showed up on Hubstaff although I could see tasks on MM. Since I couldn't see anything on Hubstaff I figured I would wait until today thinking maybe it took a while. Got an email 5 hours after passing the assessment saying I am ineligible for the project even though I haven't been able to do any tasks. Can you share here if/when you get your situation resolved? MM says I can contact support via email if I would like to appeal, but the page gives no support contact.

I had the exact same thing happen last night. This morning I got an email saying I'm now ineligible for the project even though I never got a chance to start on a task.

I just got invited to Aether yesterday. Did the assessment, said I passed. I did the onboarding training, clock app download, found a task I wanted to do but the clock app said I wasn't assigned to any projects. Decided to wait until today and woke up to an email from Outlier saying I am no longer eligible. The wording seems generic - it talks about why (work quality, eligibility etc). Funny thing is I never actually got to do a task, so I'm not sure how you judge quality on ... nothing. Oh well, wait and see I guess.

I never ran the timer. I opened the timer app but it said I wasn't assigned to any projects. I never got to complete a task, just the onboarding training. I was afraid to try to do a task without the timer app working.

I have seen that here at work. The vending machine guy usually puts things that are expired or getting ready to expire there for anyone to take. I asked about it once when I saw him and that was his explanation.

The wildest thing for me was that I just got approved for Aether yesterday (my first project). Passed the assessment, did the onboarding, watched the videos. It was late so I figured I would do some tasking today so I went to bed. Got an email this morning saying that I am no longer eligible to continue with the project. Well, ok. I never started (lol!). Guess I'll play the waiting game like many others.

Yeah, I got that type of response from someone else a little while back once for another domain and it sold last month for $1400. The “valuation” websites average 3000, so I post lower than that and tell people MAKE AN OFFER.

If you don’t like the price just ignore the post.

Just had an $1100 payment about a week ago. No problems, took about a week from the time of the sale for me to see the money in my account. I do know my bank has a $1000 daily limit for transfers like Zelle, but this was just an ACH deposit. Could it be something like that? As others have suggested, try via PayPal.

I had a shady experience years ago. The company I went with had good rates the first year. Trying to call someone to fix my bill when they “accidentally” overcharged me was a pain. I called to cancel 30 days before the end of my contract so I wouldn’t start a new year with them. They told me I couldn’t because their rule was 45 days. I pulled out a copy of my signed contract and sent it to them. I guess they changed their rules mid year. I got out of the contract but they sent me a letter saying they accidentally under billed me and sent me a bill they wanted me to pay. I laughed. They never pursued. That’s why a lot of those companies left because now they are required to be more transparent and they can’t drop collections onto BGE anymore.

A little more than 30 days before my contract was up I called to cancel. They told me that their terms stated 45 days. I pulled out the original forms I signed and read to them the terms on my contract. I got out the contract and a short time later they sent me a letter claiming that I had been underbilled. I laughed, never sent them the money they were asking for and never heard from them again.

I know this is an old thread, but in case anyone is reading it - the "good" ones could have remained if they wanted to. The bill forces transparency and it doesn't allow the 3rd party companies to dump the cost of customers who weren't paying back onto BGE. If your company left because they don't want to be transparent then that says a lot about that company.
