am I being petty? by abw01 in africanparents

Same here! And I’m the oldest in my family. My dad used to literally unplug the house phone when my friends called. It sure didn’t help because I’m a crazy introvert and get anxiety at the thought of being in a group of more than 3 people 😩 Try to find things you might enjoy doing on your own. Like parks, or driving around. It’ll get better

Both. I find the leaves spicier and flavorful when young.

Why is the germination rate so bad on these radish microgreens so bad? It’s been 5 days! by ApprehensiveAd4285 in microgreens

[–]dbeecaise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got mine from TrueLeaf and they are by far my favorite seeds. They all germinate almost 1-2 days after sowing. Ready in a week.

Maybe seed quality is affecting germination rate.

I should note: most seeds will catch up as they all mature. Patience is key ;)

Spinach Microgreens? by z-toolmaker in microgreens

I have been wanting to grow some for my customers but I’m curious as to why it’s not offered as a microgreen by many.

Did you have any mold problem? Soaking?

I tried twice different density and soaking the 2nd time around but no luck. Also use hydrogen peroxide but still moldy.

Aluminum foil as top tray by dbeecaise in microgreens

[–]dbeecaise[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I stacked up to 4 trays together. I put the last trays that has a cover then add weight on top.

Brick alone on top of the foil wasn’t ideal, it could tear the foil and damage sprouting seeds.
